Buyer Beware
My garage door had not been opening properly for a week. I looked online for a company that repairs gargage doors and came across SiSi Garage Door Repair. They were located close to my house and had 206 Google reviews with a 5.0 rating. I should have been skeptical because I have never seen a company with perfect 5.0 rating. I was able to get an appointment quickly. When the technician came out he said labor would be a minimum $275. When I questioned that price, he went down to $250. He looked over my door and told me I had the wrong size springs and the wrong rollers (metal). He tried to sell me silicone rollers but I declined (who knows how much additional labor he would have charged and how much he would have charged for silicone rollers?) I told him I just needed the door tuned up so it opens and closes properly (the door is just over 2 years old). He ended up working on my door for around 1/2 hour. He got it working properly. When I asked for a total, the technician told me $325. I asked him what the extra $75 was for. He said lubricant. I watched the technician lubricate all the parts. He used less than 1 can of spray lubricant. Also, the technician left without giving me a receipt or invoice. I called them the next day and was told they would email them to me. Now, 2 days later I have not received them. This company ripped me off and needless to say I will never do business with them again, nor will I refer anyone else to them.
