Many users have reported extremely negative experiences with Skydo payment methods, highlighting repeated unethical practices that show patterns of money withholding, empty promises, and sudden account closures.​

Worst Experiences and Skydo's Unethical Practices
Numerous businesses and freelancers have found their accounts suddenly closed just before payout, even after Skydo had held their funds for 7–10 days or more, apparently gaining interest on that money while giving fake payout dates and excuses at the last minute. Users note that, after completing all verifications and waiting patiently for promised transfers, their funds were unjustifiably blocked.​

Customers describe runarounds where Skydo repeatedly asks for unnecessary documents — even after full compliance and verification — only to eventually close the account, leaving large amounts of money in limbo. Some report no resolution: Skydo refuses to refund or payout, and customer support becomes unreachable or blocks the complainant's number altogether.​

Several users allege Skydo's “modus operandi” is to first establish trust by processing payments smoothly, then impose vague compliance checks to justify freezing or blocking funds, and ultimately offer no valid explanation for account closure.​

Never use skydo

Never use skydo i was a long time member and they suddenly closed my account without valid justification all my payment from my clients for held for no reason lost more than 20000 Euros all are legimate payments and i was a loyal customer from more than 1 year these startups thinks they can play with peoples hard earned money skydo and his ceo movin should shut down

As already discussed with you, a detailed review of your account activity was conducted by our compliance team, and the decision to close your account was made because the activity fell outside our approved risk framework.

To clarify the concern regarding funds:
All unsettled payments amounting to approximately €3,000 were reversed back to the source, strictly following RBI Master Directions. We have shared the corresponding refund proofs with you as well.
There has been no instance where €20,000 was held, and we have not retained any customer funds unlawfully.

We know this outcome may be disappointing, and we truly regret the inconvenience caused. However, these steps are mandatory for us to operate responsibly and within the regulatory ecosystem.

Skydo much better than archaic banks

I started using Skydo since March 2025 for receiving payments from my client based in Ireland.

Things I like:
1) Small flat fee instead of percentage charged - good deal for folks who receive big amount.
2) Quick and reliable customer care. They genuinely try to resolve problems.
3) Dashboard UI is sleek and clear. Option to track and download invoices, transactions, FIRAs, etc.

Thing I don't like:
1) They don't have mobile app

100% Better than paypal

My experience with them has been pretty good. Even better than Paypal. I made my Skydo account in the evening and the payment came the next evening, that 24 hours in total, so it's definitely faster.

They did ask for my project contract and invoice before approving the payment. Paypal never asks for those docs. As Skydo’s fees are low I didn’t really care about this small requirement. I think they do this to keep great indian scammers away which is fair.

Also one of their account managers, Pooja Hisariya was directly in touch with me on call for all my queries, so customer service is totally 10/10.

So yeah if you are doing legit work then its a good option. I’ll update my review if I run into any issues later with them. For now I'm using paypal anymore.

Extremely Disappointed with Skydo’s Handling of Legitimate Payment

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience using Skydo.

A genuine client payment that was fully verified and compliant was suddenly reversed and refunded by Skydo without any prior notice or explanation beyond a generic message about “risk appetite.” The transaction was completely legitimate, and all required details were already provided.

What made it worse is that the order had already been fulfilled, resulting in a direct financial loss and unnecessary stress. Their support responses were slow, repetitive, and lacked accountability. Eventually, the account was closed without warning, despite having a clean record and transparent communication.

I trusted Skydo to handle international business payments safely, but this experience proved the system to be unreliable and one-sided. Businesses need clarity, not surprise reversals after successful transactions.

Skydo really needs to rethink its compliance process and communication — legitimate users should not be penalized for issues beyond their control. I sincerely hope no other business faces this kind of situation.

As a regulated entity we are responsible for conducting the right checks to protect users against any financial mishaps, and if these check result in the payment or account being out of our risk thresholds, we need to return the payment and close the account.

These checks are conducted at different points of the lifecycle of the customer and are triggered on various parameters of new payments etc.

We understand that the process might feel opaque, but we are bound not to share certain details of investigation as per regulatory guidelines.

We try to be as transparent as possible and are here to solve for transparency but are also bound by regulatory requirements to disclose only the right infirmation.
