Nice and friendly and adjustments are free which is great. But the standard dinner suit size of pants being 6” smaller than chest size meant I was always needing to come into the store to get 2” smaller pants. Actually needed 1 visit to measure than another one to pick up as they couldn’t just give me some smaller pants.
Really good quality for the price however

Had really disappointing service around…
Had really disappointing service around a month or so ago when I went in to buy two pairs of trousers. Staff were unhelpful and gave me incorrect information regarding the sizing/length of the leg.

Slaters Manchester Superb Customer Service
So tomorrow we are traveling to Southampton to join a Cruise on Friday. Some nights on board they have formal dress nights. I have a Tuxedo suit ,so last night I tried it on. Shock horror the trousers won’t fit. This morning I got the Tram to Manchester to Slaters. Within 15 minutes they had me sorted. I pick my turned up trousers at three o’clock the same day. That’s amazing customer service. I’ve been a customer at Slaters for many years.I bought my wedding suit from them, my suit for my Stepdaughters wedding, my Tuxedo and many more shirts etc. As soon as you walk into the store you feel special with the first class service they give every person. They really excelled themselves today, as I thought it was a Mission impossible ! Can’t thank all the staff enough for helping me out of a situation
I would recommend everyone to experience this first class customer experience.
