Sliding Sash Solutions have just refurbished our very large Victorian sash windows and have done a great job. We were delighted with all aspects of the work and are so pleased we chose this local firm: communication was excellent from start to finish, the job was carried out on time with minimal disruption, and the end result has exceeded our expectations. Our new double glazed panels match the original ones perfectly. I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent local company.

Sliding Sash Solutions did some work for me after a flyer was placed through my door - replacing the sashes in a wooden sash window (and also to fit a new mortice lock to a front door). From start to finish I dealt directly with Sam Warne who was excellent in terms of delivering on promises, being clear about timelines, responsiveness and, above all, quality of the work itself. I had received several quotes to replace the whole window (frame and sashes) either in PVC (cheap but we preferred wood) or wood (very expensive to replace whole unit/sashes etc). Since only the sashes needed replacing (one being rotten) the Sliding Sash Solutions approach to replace the sashes only was ideal and much more economical. The job took about a day, with everything painted, weights and cords replaced and new double glazed units to replace the single glazed ones. I am very happy with the result and the price to me seemed right considering the quality of the materials and workmanship.

We contacted Sliding Sash Solutions after a flyer through our door. Sam came round quoted and we went ahead and replaced our 7 sash windows with double glazed units. Sam was fantastic all the way through and we can thoroughly recommend his services. He is polite , punctual, tidy and reliable. We are really really pleased with our new windows!

Five Star review...We first used this company back in 2009 and they did a fantastic Job for us in Horsham. Dermot Cooke (who I understand is still with the company) sorted our issues and allowed us to keep our period windows. We have now had fresh dealings with the Sliding Sash Solutions and this time dealt with Shane Keens... just first class service - if I could I'd give 6 stars I would.

We are very happy with our new double glazed sash windows. Sam was meticulous in his work. He carefully covered existing furniture and carpets to protect against dust. His standard of installation work was of the highest and we noticed an immediate improvement in noise and draft reduction. He also kept us informed on progress and next steps all of the way. Andy was recommended by a neighbour. Needed two poorly fitting casement windows removed, rotten sills replaced, replace wooden mullion, windows refurbished, putty replaced, new hinges and window furniture and refitted. Communication was good from the initial contact my email. Always turned up as stated. I had to adjust start date due to other work being done with no problem. Turned up for a two day job and just cracked on with it. Found other rotten wood during the work and just got on and replaced it, but stuck to his original quote. Windows now fit perfectly and make a good seal to block out the wind and rain of coastal Brighton.

I had looked without success for a way to have broken sash windows mended - specialist work. Helped by a tip of work being done by Sliding Sash Solutions. some miles away, I phoned.
Andy Hiley of Sliding Sash Solutions Brighton area was immediately helpful. Though very busy he took time to visit the property, assess the work needed, gave me good, helpful advice, fitted the work in at an extremely busy time for the company. People who saw his work at my property hired him to do work on their new house. Andy is an excellent ambassador for the company.

This is the third piece of work by Dermot on my windows. Now every single sash window in my house opens and shuts smoothly, doesn’t rattle, and doesn’t let a howling gale through. Bliss. And on top of that, Dermot is the consummate professional, keeping me informed, turning up bang on time as promised and leaving things as neat and tidy as when he started. Great job.

Work was carried out exactly to the timescale. Dust covers were placed throughout the room to minimise mess and the room was cleaned after each day of work. All work to be carried out was explained thoroughly and a complete explanation was also given when job was complete. Very friendly, very professional and I thoroughly recommend this firm
