Scammers…liars…thieves…quoted $445 to ship auto from Buffalo to Oaklahoma then 1 day before picking up the vehicle said they had no drivers and quoted me $1400 for another company to transport. It’s a Bait and Switch game they play. It cost me $1200 to ship the car and it was delivered 5 days later because of the SCAM I saw bar reviews before but ignored it. Don’t ignore this one. I booked it 1 month in advance and it was a huge SCAM

Low-ball you in to get business get deposit then doubled the price! Then customer service says give them chance to make it right and did nothing but get me charged for 3 more days of vehicle in impound where it was after being stolen. Needless to say I lost my 200 dollar deposit they would not refund and another 90 dollars for it sitting in impound I went to another company that gave me a price and stuck with that price unlike smart carship. Talked to manager he tells me to send 200 dollars to them for cancellation and then he would send me my refund! Cmon man i got no service from them. In the contract the only way I would have to pay cancellation fee is if they went to pick it up and something happened they couldn't which none of it happened! They did nothing but take my 200! Worst business of all things I have ever dealt with

Sam was amazing great price and got the vehicle picked up right away. Best in the business.

They assigned to a driver to pick up 2 pickups for me every time I called i was told someone would be there the next morning then they would change it to afternoon before 5 and still no one showed up did the several days in a row. Once they finally got someone to show up to the pick-up location I get told its going to be a extra $150 then the qoute.

This is a bait and switch company with fraudulent business practices. They are not a shipping company. They provide brokerage services through a contact center. who hires 3rd party movers.

Their business practice is to under-quote, and then closer to pick-up date to say that the quote is higher, because the driver is "grumpy" and wants more money.

When you don't agree to pay more, they say they'll look for another driver - and then you'll wait for 48 - 72 hours. They'll call again and say they can't find anyone for that price.

I'm now looking for another company - and fighting for a refund on the deposit. My car should be here tomorrow - instead, I'm starting from scratch.

You'll know they're playing you - when they talk too fast, avoid answering your questions, and generally try to confuse you.

I want to share my experience with one of the most unscrupulous "scammers" in the auto shipping industry. Initially, I received a quote from a gentleman named HENRY for $890 USD, and I deposited $190 to secure the shipment. However, the day before the scheduled pick-up, I received a call from another representative named MOHAMMED, who shockingly demanded an outrageous $2700. Being stuck in California, I simply couldn't afford such a steep increase.

In a desperate attempt to gain my trust, he played on our shared faith, saying, "Bro, come on, you’re a Muslim too. I’m just trying to help you," and offered to lower the price to $1850. At that moment, I knew I was being taken advantage of, and unfortunately, I lost my initial deposit.

This appears to be a deliberate strategy they employ: first, they book your shipment, take your deposit, and then try to extort double or even triple the original amount, all while keeping your hard-earned money.

I've attempted to contact their San Francisco office, but my calls have gone unanswered. I reached out to the Virginia office and spoke to the manager, who promised to investigate my issue. Yet, after nearly a week of waiting, I still can't get anyone on the phone.
