Scott came to do an end of warranty inspection of our property. Booking was super easy, he arrived on time and was very respectful of our property! My husband said he was a really nice super friendly chap! He was very thorough and highlighted a number of defects. A detailed report followed including a thermal imaging report.
I would highly recommend Smart Home Inspections & Clerk of Works Consultants to anyone purchasing a new build property and will book them to do a follow up with a re-inspection.

Scott came back to do an end of warranty inspection at our property. He was very thorough and highlighted a significant amount of defects (including serious safety issues) which the developer had either not addressed or their repairs had been sub standard. This was followed up quickly with a detailed report including thermal imaging.

I would highly recommend Smart Home for a new house inspection. Both Kelly and Scott were fantastic from the outset. I didn't reach out with much notice as I wasn't certain when I’d actually exchange contracts, but they managed to accommodate the inspection on a day that suited us, and the report was available very promptly. Scott was excellent – he answered all my questions patiently, explained how everything works, and it was certainly value for money as he identified a few issues I’d never have spotted myself. He went above and beyond to deliver a thorough inspection, even with a missing tool that hadn’t been provided by the house builder at the time. I’m very pleased with their service and professionalism and would highly recommend the company.

A very professional company and I would not hesitate to recommend them. I bought a new build property and commissioned a snagging report which revealed issues I would never have noticed myself. Money well spent in my view. The report was very thorough and detailed and has already been passed on to my builder for actioning accordingly.

we could not have had a better experience with the snagging of our new build home with Smart Home Inspections. Prior to the day we were forced to move the appointment date multiple times and this was dealt with with the minimum of fuss by Kelly and on the date Scott, who performed the snagging arrived on time and immediately explained to us what he was going to do. He fielded multiple questions extremely politely and efficiently and no question seemed too much. Several hours later he was complete and was able to give us a general overview and around 24h later we were provided with a fully comprehensive report that we could provide to the house builder.

The service was absolutely worth every penny and would absolutely not hesitate in recommending Smart Home Inspections to any new home buyer.

Very professional service. Scott really know his stuff. Everything thoroughly examined from top to bottom and inside out. What Scott doesn't snag, isn't worth worrying about. Drone used to examined any shortcomings on the roof. Thermal imaging used to test heat efficiency. All in all a fantastic experience and well worth the money. If you're considering a snagging company, use this one. You won't be disappointed.

This is my first time to use their service. Kelly is responsive and efficient whenever I sent her email and this is important for the customer service. Scott is doing a great job as he has conducted a thorough inspection incl. thermal, internal, external, roof top, boiler, loft, etc. and point out the issues thro' his professional knowhow. I would defintely recommend smart home inspections to my friends if they need this service.

I was supported when making my decision on the type of inspection that was best for me. I chose full snagging inspection cover PCI and I have not regretted it. A thorough inspection of roof, external, internal and heating efficiency developed a detailed report which enabled me to engage with my developer to remediate.

I would highly recommend to anyone whether you have experience of building regs or not. This company will do a good job and help you along the way.

I contacted Kelly at Smart Home Inspections and they booked me in for Sunday. It was the most outstanding, full inspection I have ever seen. Scott checked everything and I got my report the next morning. Value for money, a very professional service and a great follow up service. After searching ages for a snagger I came across Smart Home Inspections. They seemed perfect...their videos and reviews helped me decide this was the right company.
Firstly Kelly was absolutely brilliant, so quick to reasond to any questions I had prior to the visit. The whole booking process was very quick and easy to do.
On the day Scott was so unbelievably thorough. I feel completely confident that he has checked every nook and cranny of our new home! It was worth every penny and I am so glad we booked.
