Having worked with outsourced teams for the best part of 10 years, I have to say Smart Working is hands down providing leading engineering talent.
The engineers they placed with us write production-grade code, ask the right architectural questions, and actually push back when they see a better way to solve something. It genuinely feels like an extension of our UK engineering core.

We are currently running 17 of our engineers through their AI academy program and I am impressed at how current it is--driving high velocity, production-quality results.

Smart working is AMAZING. We were quoted double by two London agencies for the same scope. Smart Working gave us a senior engineering team at a fraction of the cost without the usual offshore compromises. All engineers work UK timezone, same quality bar and no communication worries. Six months in, we’ve saved enough to fund an entire new product line.

We recently made our first round of AI Engineering hires through Smart Working. We were very impressed with the quality of each candidate that was presented to us. A part of the service that I liked most was the solutions engineering support in helping us scope the project and talent requirements.

After an interview, I was asked to complete a design task. Unfortunately, there was no response to my emails or questions regarding the task, and no feedback provided. Being completely ignored after dedicating time and effort resulted in a very poor candidate experience.

Our goal was to find someone who would fit perfectly into our team, to deliver high value to our customers, and that’s what we got, a highly recommended service.

Smart Working have built a team of 6 developers for us. While they are remote from our office they are fully integrated into our business and with Smart Working’s support in the background we see this as a long term solution to the challenge of finding the right software talent. All members of the team got up to speed quickly and we are very happy with the quality of their work. They work as normal members of our team (same hours, managed by us, in permanent communication). We will continue to use Smart Working as we grow further.

The team at Smart Working were really easy to work with. They went about their task exactly as described and there was no pressure or surprises along the way. Ritesh was a productive team member within just a few days and brings fantastic new knowledge and experience into the team. We are happily investing in training for him, as we would the rest of our team, because we see him as a long-term asset to our business.
