Recently inherited my late grandma’s house and wanted to sell it quickly because of the condition and the memories. SmoothSale made me a lower first offer than other companies, but they said they try to make them realistic. They got valuations and did the legal check and after the valuations came back the offer actually went up a little bit as they offer a percent of the value. I still took about 30k off the price if I had sold it with an estate agent but the whole thing only took 2 weeks.

Completely put my mind at ease when selling. Great company with a great team - really impressed!

Was persuaded to reduce my property price from £425k to £390k in order to entice an alleged “cash ready investor”with the contingency offer that SmoothMove would pay £350k if no buyer was secured at £390k. However when no buyer was secured at £390k SmoothMove denied making the offer of £350k and then offered £320k .
However SmoothMove company trading accounts do not show evidence of funds to be able to honour such claims.
Misleading and highly unprofessional. Waste of valuable time and long term detrimental impact on property value

Just writing to highlight my positive experience with SmoothSale.

Due to personal circumstances, I needed to sell my property within a very short timeframe. I didn’t actually think it was possible but I saw the ad for Smoothsale and thought I’d give them a try.

After speaking to them, I did feel a sense of reassurance that a quick sale is actually possible. Although I did sell for less than what I could get on the open market, they bought my property in 10 days for cash. I can’t complain at all.

Special mention to Rob who was a star.

Smoothsale did exactly what they say on the tin. I tried to sell my flat on the open market for 5 months with my previous estate agent with very little interest.

Once my contract expired with the agent, I explored the possibility of a quick sale with SmoothSale. I spoke to a gentleman called Adam who was very clear on the services offered and provided me with a couple of options.

I went with the higher offer and after 3 weeks my property was sold. There was a couple of complications along the way but Zak went above and beyond to bring completion forward. I’ve now completed with the money in my account. A very positive experience indeed.

I was quite cautious at first as this is a different way of selling property but I can honestly say that it has been a very straightforward and positive experience. Everyone I have spoken to has been professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Amy Roddy kept me informed of the progress and liaised with the solicitors on my behalf from point of sale to completion. I would not hesitate in recommending Smooth Sales.

Although I ultimately didn't go with smoothsale I would like to say how professional they were at all times. The decision to go with another company was just down to personal choice.

What made my experience great, was how the team simplified the process of sales from start to completion. The team explained the lengthy conveyance process in a clear and simple manner. The team did not just explain, they supported me throughout the process. The team’s prediction of the conveyance process/Timeline was almost accurate.

I really appreciate how Amy and Zak chased the conveyance process via emails and phone conversations. Regularly, contacting both buyer and seller solicitors to ensure a timely completion. At a stage, I thought I have lost out on the length process. However, Amy and her team were very reassuring, thoughtful, pleasant and polite. Amy and her team demonstrated tactical responds to ensuring all hands were on deck. The evidence in Amy and her team’s correspondence speaks volumes about their professional dedication to duties - communication and negotiating skills exemplified/demonstrated.

I have no doubt, Smooth Sales Team (Amy, Zak and the team) have the skills and professional expertise to buy and sell for England.

In view of this development, I will recommend that the management of Smooth Sale consider Amy, Zak and some other dedicated staff as partners of Smooth Sales Estate as they have shown real and genuine dedication to duties.

I have no doubt in the future to further patronize and recommend Smooth Sales Estate to other prospective buyers.

Absolutely awful service as a potential buyer: after making an initial enquiry on a property, they hounded me for my availability (ignoring the fact that I said I was flexible other than one particular weekend - which they then tried to book me in for a viewing on) and then did not even show up for a viewing that was finally booked in. When I called their head office, I was told that all agents were busy, but an update would be given in 10 minutes. No update was given, and when I called for a second time, I was given incorrect information that the agent was waiting for me inside the property & I was to knock on the door. As stated, this was incorrect, as no one came to the door when I knocked.
I called a third time (each call being made at 10 or 15 minute intervals) I was not even answered, and left to an endless "your call is important to us" message.
How they expect to be able to sell a property when they can't even arrange a viewing is beyond me.

I worked closely with Amy and she was amazing and provided all the information I needed and was always contactable and very supportive throughout the whole process. Lovely person to deal with.

Smoothsale were really good to deal with. They took all the hassle and stress out of Selling my parents house. From start to finish they kept me updated and the whole process was stress free. If you need to sell your house quick or haven't got time for the conventional route, these are the people to go to. Great service and would highly recommend. I’d recommend SmoothSale to anyone looking to sell their property in a straight forward and quick way. I wanted to sell my house in a time frame that suited my circumstances and SmoothSale offered that opportunity. From my initial contact with Rob and then Ben taking over dealing with my property sale it has been made straightforward and as stress free as possible. Not all all impressed. Huge hype at the start of the relationship. 99% of our properties are sold within a month. We need exclusivity so please terminate the relationship with your estate agents. Started the exclusive relationship with Smoothsale and not even a single enquiry.
