There is no way for us to predetermine whether a phone number has been used on a service before we owned the phone number however we do not reuse phone numbers on our end.

Being fair here, giving 4 stars because it does not deserve 5 as the service did not work at all, however they refunded my money which makes my original review/thought they are a scan incorrect and I fairly needed to correct that statement.

1) When, after 40 attempts, you finally find a country where there is actually stock available and use it to register to any service, you find out that the sms NEVER ARRIVES.
They have written a newbie useless guide of how to avoid that, but I am not doing anything of what they say there. I am using private IPs, tried different devices etc
It just does NOT work no matter what you do. Waste of time and money
2) Secondary UX bug: despite the dozens attempts you need in order to place an order they make you reselect the service after changing the country. this is waste of time, and if they search again the DB each time, then why do they present countries/services pairs with empty stock at all?

I can tell you for a fact that these numbers rarely work for Gmail. I bought numbers with a 100% success rate. The message is clear: "This phone number can't be used for verification" or, on some occasions, "This phone number has been used too many times". SMSPool's so-called 'workaround' is a complete joke. I tried it with a proxy and a fresh browser session, and it didn't work. This service was a complete waste of my time. I had to refund numbers that didn't work for Gmail and try new numbers, and sometimes this retrying process takes days.
I can confirm that almost every number disables your Google Account entirely. I have lost accounts and work on accounts because of this issue, which has not been fixed since September. This issue also happens to my partner. He received poor advice from the SMSPool support team; they were completely ignorant of this issue.
My partner was misinformed about this issue. They told him to use a Latvian proxy, and the SMSPool support team didn't seem to care. They told him to try Latvian numbers, but that didn't work. They told my partner that it is his fault. This is false. I have the same issues with Gmail.
Smspool support is completely unaware of this issue.
It is clear that other SMS verification services are simply better and faster for Gmail than SMSPool. There is a high likelihood that your account will be disabled. (the disable Google account issue happens on even on a multilogin browser, and on all devices. It is not A FINGERPRINTING ISSUE.)
SMSPool will undoubtedly reply to this review with the same old lies: "We checked, and our numbers are working" or "We have had no issue with Google at the moment". You may see that "users" are getting Google verification codes, but that's rare. How many of them are getting disabled with no option to resend? They act like the numbers work and blame the customers for SMSPool's phone verification issues. This service became completely unusable in 2025. I This platform must not reply to this review with false information, such as "This seems like a fingerprinting issue." I have tried to verify the numbers, even on my Android, and guess what? Google disabled my accounts on my Android device because of the bad SMSPool phone numbers. I got them all restored, but it was a nightmare.
I will delete this review once this is fully fixed.
You must never use smspool, especially for important Google accounts, as there is a chance that they will get disabled.

Regarding your claim that our numbers are at fault, the evidence shows otherwise. The error "This phone number cannot be used for verification" is a well-documented Google issue affecting thousands of legitimate users worldwide. Google's support forums show users reporting this exact error even when using their own personal, long-term mobile contracts.
This is not limited to SMS services. Users report being unable to create Gmail accounts despite using "freshly bought phone numbers that's not associated to anything at all", and others state they "can't recall what accounts these would be" when told too many accounts have used their number.
Google has implemented significantly stricter fraud detection measures throughout 2024-2025. Their systems now use advanced browser fingerprinting techniques. When these systems flag an IP address or device fingerprint as suspicious, they reject every phone number entered on that account, regardless of the number's legitimacy.
The account disabling you experienced confirms this is a detection issue. Google's official documentation states that when users make "too many attempts, you may be subject to other anti-abuse mechanisms" and that waiting periods are often required for anti-abuse measures to reset.
Many users have successfully resolved similar issues by following proper setup procedures: using residential IP addresses that match the phone number's country and implementing proper browser fingerprint management such as Brave via Incognito, Mullvad Browser, Multilogin and Incogniton.
Our numbers are real, non-VoIP SIM cards from recognized mobile carriers. Google explicitly blocks VoIP numbers from certain services, but accepts legitimate SIM-based numbers when the verification environment is properly configured.
