Purchased 5 items from SnowDefy for Christmas presents during a "Black Friday" deal, which was not delivered until after the first of the year. The produce was a windshield cover for snow/sleet/freezing rain protection. The product claims to have tabs on the sides that can be closed into the door frame so they don't blow away. When I received the products, NOT ONE of the items was even big enough to cover the windshield, let alone reach the door frames. I contacted customer service to return. They gave me a bogus address in Las Vegas, because after nearly a month, the items never made it there. I never got any money returned. I DO NOT recommend this business and quite frankly, I believe it is a scam.

If only I could give a negative 5 stars!! This has been the worst interaction with a company. The item advertised was so cheap when finally received.
I kept one and gave the other as a Christmas gift. It was such poor quality and fit. I was truly embarrassed I gave it as a gift. I asked my bf to give it back to me and would get both returned for a credit. Of course the customer service put me and I never received a credit or return information. Now their email address is no longer valid. At this point I'll take it up with my CC company. 😠

I had a very frustrating experience with SnowDefy due to an unresponsive and unworkable return process.

First of all, the product I received was not at all as described on the website. I ordered two car windshield "Weather shields", which were advertised as "universal fit for all vehicles", however the product did not fit across my windshield or that of my husband's car. It was also advertised as coming with a compact storage bag, however I did not receive this with my order. The product material also seemed very cheap.

After requesting a refund, I never received the prepaid return label I was initially told would be provided. I contacted customer service multiple times and did not receive a response until over a week later.

When they finally replied, they changed course and told me no return label would be provided and instructed me to ship the item myself to a return address. Unfortunately, the address they provided could not be verified by the carrier due to an incorrect ZIP code, making it impossible to send the return.

I notified the company of the issue and requested either a verified address or a prepaid label. I received no response. This is now almost a full month after initially contacting them for the refund.

After giving a clear final deadline and still hearing nothing, I had no choice but to resolve the matter through my credit card company, which ultimately approved a chargeback.

I made repeated good-faith attempts to return the item, but the lack of communication and incorrect return information left me with no viable option. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend purchasing from this company.

If you did make a purchase and are unsatisfied, I highly recommend saving and documenting all interactions with the company (dates contacted, merchant response, good-faith attempts to contact company and return item, etc.), as this will build a strong case for when you need to contact your credit card company for a chargeback.

This is the worst product ever and please don’t get suckered into buying this product. I have a small jeep Cherokee and it only covered half of the windshield. I bought two and they shipped me only one and when I tried to reach out to customer service no one has responded back to me. This product comes from China and I can’t state enough how horrible this product is and it is nothing like they show on their website so please don’t be fooled. You could probably get better results from a garbage bag on your windshield during a snowstorm.

If you could give NO STARS, that's what this would get. I ordered 3 covers. When I received them they barely fit two thirds of my Ford Escape windshield. They also did not fit my sons Volkswagen Golf. I tried to get info from their customer service people and it took a long time between emails. I finally got an address to send them back to AND paid over $50.00 in postage. After tracking my package, I found out that it is being sent back to me because the address was not found after over 10 days of being in transit. I highly encourage you NOT to order from this company. They are not a trustworthy company. This is a scam.

I bought three snowdefy covers and gifted two to others for Christmas. I kept one for myself. I went to use it for the first time and found that the windshield cover did not cover 2/3 of my windshield. I drive a 2011 Highlander.

I ordered three windshield protectors on Dec 6th. On Dec 30th I got an email saying they were delivered to my front door. The items arrived three days later and were left on top of the mailbox at my condominium complex. Emails to the company were not replied to. This is poor communication and delivery service. I have not tried the product yet but will update this review if anything has changed....Here is an update as of February 24, 2026. After unpacking the snow covers to put on our three cars we realized they sent us the wrong size. These were for small cars which we do not have. I reached out to them to return the items. It took over a week for each email to get a response. Once I got the return instructions I packed up the covers and sent them to the address. Today I get a phone call from the place I mailed them out of saying the items were returned BECAUSE THE ADDRESS DOESN'T EXIST. We double checked the address on the instructions and the box I sent and it was correct. So yes this is a HUGE SCAM when they give you a FALSE ADDRESS. They should be charged with fraud!

Ordered December 9. They billed my card on the 9th. Said it was"In Transit" for 3 weeks. I called and it was like the phone was disconnected, always a busy signal. I contacted them 4 times via their site with NO reply. I refuted my bill with my credit card and was credited back my price. Only then did they reply back with an email stating the same tracking I had. I asked for more specific info and they said they would get back to me and that was 2 weeks ago with no more info.

What I received is not at ALL what is advertised on the website. It doesn’t even fit the windshield of my Honda Fit, which is a subcompact car. Of course they don’t offer refunds on products that have been opened - and of course you can’t tell what you have until you open the package. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS.
