Sofology - Stoke-on-Trent Reviews 

From entering the Stoke store, Ash made us feel totally welcome and did not “hard sell” at anytime, giving us superb product and financial information about any sofa we were interested in. We finally bought our new suite based on his knowledge and experience. Thank you Ash, you are a credit to Sofology.

We recently purchased a sofa from Sofology and received excellent service from James from start to finish. James was personable, down to earth and made the whole process completely seamless.

He took the time to understand what we were looking for and gave us really helpful advice without ever making us feel pressured into buying anything. He also thought of things that wouldn’t have crossed our minds, such as rounding up the monthly payments, and recommending the sofa care kit.

We would highly recommend Sofology and, in particular, James. He was fantastic throughout the whole experience and made buying our new sofa such an enjoyable experience.

Wasn't hijacked by sales staff the moment I walked through the door. Was left alone to browse and approached sales staff when I was ready and wanted help. Good range of sofas, different styles, materials, colours etc.

I have not received the sofas yet, but for overall experience of choosing the sofas I can’t fault the service I had. Making choices like this can be overwhelming for me, but James Okey at the Hanley store was incredible. He was patient, honest and really helped me to visualise what I was choosing. He’s either one of the best sales people I’ve ever come across, or he just genuinely cares about people (or both I guess) but if I could have his support for every large purchase for my house I would! Thanks again James, I hope you get the recognition you deserve

Very nice store, well presented and the staff were very knowledgeable about the products and helpful without being pushy to make a sale.

I have never seen soo many Large Sofas in one area. Yes we had taken our measurements so realised the two two seater Sofas would be a correct fit for our space. Ash our Assistant didn’t pressurise us at all left us to browse I sat on the seats and even put my feet up to see if comfortable when relaxing until we chose the two sofas and then he helped with the multiple colour choice everything was then sorted pretty quickly 7 weeks delivery and also gave us a card to contact a firm to take our old sofas away Excellent!!! Would definitely go to Sofology again.

Customer service at store below average, not happy at all, I placed a very big order worth £11,000 but the service I received was awful communication between the staff is not very good. Sales man have little or no experience couldn’t even do the calculation with a calculator, I would recommend people to avoid this store and use a store else where. Attitude of staff is ridiculous I suggest senior management have a look into the attitude and the way the sales and mangers work at this store.
This company is not reliable and misleading customers I bought 2 suites from them they both came damaged. I had to return the sofa sets on delivery. The information the assistant provided in store was nothing wrong when I spoke to the Sofology customer team they said they would only give me a £300 refund on thousands pounds of worth furniture. They did not want help to resolve the situation instead they were acting all weird. The legs were broken, scuffed, ripped literally you can see from the images how they sent me the delivery. I had to reject the delivery. Please be aware the quality of the sofas and fabric. There after care service is disgraceful, they have no warranty in place . They are full of lies. I would never go back to them again .

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. After spending over £3,000 on a brand-new sofa, it arrived with damage, marks, and even a missing cushion. To make matters worse, the ordering and delivery process was full of issues, including poor communication, being passed between different teams, and our delivery request being overlooked.

The aftercare has also been frustrating. I was offered a repair on a brand-new sofa, which I don’t believe is an acceptable solution for a purchase of this value. Communication between departments has been poor, and I have had to take additional time off work for a technician visit because of problems that should never have occurred.

When you spend this amount of money, you expect a premium product and service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite. I hope Sofology resolves this fairly, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend them.

Left to decide with no pressure .

Very rarely do I leave a buying experience with a sense of having had a genuine human interaction. This was a pleasant exception to that rule.
No pushy sales technique or oversell just a person who seemed happy to engage. Gave me my options and let me make a decision.

great customer service. No hard sell but were there to answer any questions. Helpful, polite and cheery. Store was clean, cool and well displayed. It was more money then i expected but the quality is plain to see and you can pay monthly interest free.

The sales person that dealt with us was really informative and very helpful on choosing i hope, the correct sofas. It was so nice to walk into the store and not be jumped on, but be allowed to walk around and not feel pressurised at all. That is mainly why we have decided to buy from you.
