Good choice of sofas, only let down is spend £2000 on a sofa and they want £130 delivery charge

Chris Harper-Barrett at York made us feel welcome and offered us a drink of tea or coffee. He went through all the options for the sofa we had chosen making it easy for selecting the options we wanted.
We accepted the cleaning and extra service that Sofology recommend and we are now awaiting delivery

Friendly/approachable staff.
Very well informed and knowledgeable about all products..and if was unsure,enquired and got an answer promptly.
Non pushy,it was a pleasure to walk around and not feel pressured.

The instore service was both friendly and professional. They have a good range of products on display. However, there is very little difference in the physical footprint or size of the models. We have a small house, and it was easy to tell that they all share basically the same frame underneath. It would have been nice to see a few more varied sizing options rather than just different styles.
There was the usual upsell attempt for a "special cleaning kit" and an extended warranty. I never buy these, but the staff were at least pleasant when trying to sell them. There is also zero room for maneuver on the price. The best they could offer was free delivery, which is almost certainly priced in anyway. But again the staff were good there hands will be tied on price.
All in all, though the store was good staff were pleasant, I was happy enough with the experience.

Friendly staff, no pressure, helpful and efficient.

Gemma the sales assistant in the York store was great and made purchasing our sofa incredibly easy, arguably the reason we walked out with a brand new sofa.

We were welcomed by Tim and thoroughly enjoyed his friendly and efficient attitude.
His patience with our dithering was exemplary, a true gentleman. Even took a coffee to our disabled friend waiting in the car.
A credit to the company. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

Great customer service and product knowledge

Great sofa , was delivered in 2 weeks due cancellation from another customer.
Only 3 stars though, as the £40 leather care pack wasn’t delivered with the furniture, and 3 weeks on, we’ve heard nothing . Im currently in a telephone queue for customer services. Waiting waiting waiting …

Myles was friendly, polite & helpful & was able to answer any questions we had when choosing our new suite

No pushy sales tactics, helpful and thoughtful comments from all the staff and we were left to make our own decisions. It was a surprise to have such a good experience.

I arrived looking for a certain sofa i found online and Miles sales assistant was very helpful, explained what i needed to do and gave me lots of information about taking care of new sofas. Very good service from your staff members

When we walked in we were greeted by Tim, he welcomed us and we had a quick chat then he left us to look round. We didn't feel overwhelmed or pressured into buying which is refreshing. We left to look at other stores however we didn't see anything we liked so went back to Sofology and asked for Tim, we found a sofa we liked and he was very helpful. We also received an email from him afterwards meaning we have direct contact incase of any questions or issues. Great service so far.

In January we had very good help and advice from the store manager. In April we returned to place an order for a 4 seater and 2 seater sofa and had excellent support from Chris Harper Barrett. The whole process does take a little time but Chris made it as enjoyable as possible. Would definately recommend.

We were helped by a brilluant nember of staff called Tim Jones. He explained everything very clearly and was very helpful. Tim is a crefit to Sofology.
