I ordered the lazy man chair and ottoman December 5. Immediately on ordering I was told that it had just sold out and I wouldn’t receive the products until January. It is now March 12, 2026. You guessed it I still have nothing. Communication is awful. When you ask for a status, you get things written in Chinese or Japanese that you can’t read. They just keep pushing back the delivery date. The ship is late. The dock are full, so the ship can’t dock. You name it. They promised to escalate your issues to their upper management within seven days. Nope you never hear from anybody. Sure hope Affirms dispute department backs me up on a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
And after all this and still not having my furniture, they sent me an email this week asking me to rate their service, I feel like I’m in the twilight zone… or worse
In response to Sohnne’s reply below, No, I have not received an email informing me of anything since the last information I was given was the boat could not dock and I would be notified immediately once it had. I just checked my email and that is false. You did not email me with this info. And I find it interesting. I get a response quicker when I start putting out a negative reviews then I do when I try contacting you folks.
Nothing about this process was honest and upfront. Period. You knew I was not getting this merchandise in January. You also knew I was not getting this merchandise in February….
It remains to be seen if I get this product in March. And I asked to cancel and provide a refund a month ago.
March 16, Affirm refunded my money after they said they had spoken with Sohnne. That was all the information I was given. And my money was deposited back into my account the following day, March 17, I received a phone call about delivery of my item. This was the first news I’d had. I Informed the delivery agency that I was unable to accept delivery and was contacting the supplier., Sohnne. That same evening I received a WhatsApp text from Sohnne telling me how happy they were to let me know my item was being delivered shortly . Not sure why we went from emails to Whatsapp, but that’s what they didI explained that I was being called for a delivery and reminded them that I had already received a full refund and did not want the product delivered. This then turned into days of WhatsApp texts back-and-forth.. I was told I was dealing with “Shawn”, a senior executive, one of the texts included what appear to be a lot of Chinese language.
Long story short, after several days, they promised they would cancel the delivery and offered me a free end table for my troubles, which I declined as I was concerned, they were just trying to get me to sign a piece of paper for delivery and that I might get charged for the chair again. And 24 hours later, the delivery company called to say they were 30 minutes from my house asking for directions to deliver my chair. That was this past Tuesday, march 24. And to this day, I am still getting calls from delivery people as well as. Sohnne. Trying to get me to accept this chair, AND insisting I have not received any refund. I don’t know how this company manages to stay in business. Obviously the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I received my full refund from Affirm, they also sent me a copy of my closed account for this purchase. Sohnne is now driving some poor delivery company out of their minds. And I am blocking everything..
I do think it’s a legitimate business. I just don’t think they know what they’re doing. And after reading their return policy a little more carefully, I just didn’t want to risk receiving a damaged item or just plain not liking it and then having to pay so much money to get it returned. If returning, it is even actually even possible. Good Lord what a saga and I’m not even reporting 3/4 of it. Yes, this was the short version of the saga.

The quality honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. It feels sturdy, well-crafted, and like it’s going to last. I also love that it’s washable, which is ideal for pets. I have a black cat and a white couch, so being able to easily clean it gives me so much peace of mind. It’s super convenient and keeps everything looking fresh.
Shoutout to the customer support team, especially Arifa, for making the delivery rearrangement quick and stress-free.

Do not trust this company. I spent more than $3K on a sofa set from Sohnne and have been waiting 15 weeks to receive legible tracking information. I was originally sent Chinese language documents with no identifying information (no eta, no destination, no location, no order number). From what I can tell, this item has yet to be manufactured. I'm so sick of the delay. When I finally asked for a refund, my request was denied. I'm currently in arbitration with the FTC and BBB. ***UPDATE W/ RESPONSE TO SOHNNE'S REPLY*** Sohnne's response is completely performative. No one has contacted me and they continue to deny refund claims with the FTC and BBB. These people are fraudsters.

Sohnne is a great e-tailer for Mid Century Modern furniture at an affordable price. I bought the Shell Chair from them in Palisander with real leather cushioned surfaces. It was easy to assemble if you followed their video directions (handy!) and looks fabulous. At the price and quality, Sohnne is hard to beat. I ordered a chair on August 10, 2025, it is now December 19, 2025 no chair. Their "white glove" delivery service is a joke. They finally sent the item and asked me if I had a crane to put it in my house. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, no one keeps a crane in their home to accept deliveries!
The truck driver attempted to leave the crate in the middle of my street blocking several driveways and traffic but I refused to sign so he took it back.
I called this company on numerous times and they continue to try to force delivery by saying that the truck drivers will leave the item THEN the "white glove" folks will be dispatched to bring inside and install.
THIS MAKES NO SENSE. I live in NJ and we just experienced huge snow storm.
The item cost about $3K and the refund window is closed. DO NOT USE AFFIRM because they close their refund window after 120 days.
I also suspect that they order these items from China and don't tell you its being made and then you wait.
I requested a refund and they just keep sending me email after email trying to force delivery - DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
