My homeowner's policy has a $10,000…
My homeowner's policy has a $10,000 deductible for wind and hail, so when I came across an ad for Sola I was interested. I checked with my insurance agent to get his opinion and he let me know that he has a Sola policy on his roof. I was quoted $60 per month or about $720 per year for the standalone policy with $10,000 of coverage, which effectively reduces our deductible to that amount.

I was horrified at how expensive my AMFAM insurance was becoming and and how drastically reduced the coverage had become. Bear in mind I had been with them for 50 years. My last claim was 24 years ago. I prioritized what I wanted protected and went with Hail and Wind coverage with you and fire with Farmers. My annual savings exceed $2300.
