I want to share my experience so other users can make an informed decision.

I signed up only to test the platform and authorized a single payment of 10.75 €. Shortly after, I cancelled my subscription. Despite this, a much larger charge (“balance settlement”) was attempted. I never selected this amount and I never approved any additional payment through my secure banking app.

What I personally found concerning:
– unclear billing after cancellation
– attempts to charge a significantly higher amount without additional authorization
– difficulty removing payment details or fully closing the account

Because of this situation, I will initiate a cancellation and dispute through my bank, and if necessary I am prepared to pursue legal steps to protect myself.

The tool itself may be interesting, but my experience with the billing system was stressful and time-consuming. Please double-check the subscription terms and keep an eye on your credit card notifications.

This is only my personal experience — others may have different results — but I believe more transparency and user control are essential.

I wish I didn't have to give this website any stars, but it seems I have to. It's worthless; it only exists to steal people's money.

This promises custom AI generated music content that you can get perpetual licenses for. After using the system, I found it was very rudimentary and weak. I was essentially put in a position where I had to try and rearrange the stems and basically produce the track myself and even then it wasn't very good quality. The AI doesn't even accept text prompts, it just has limited keywords you can choose from and doesn't have control over nuance within the song. Overhyped technology and they wouldn't refund me after I signed up for the first month and realized it was subpar.

Horrible experience. Just like the other reviews say. It’s predatory, they will never stop trying to steal your money. The entire service is wack and sucks. And then the customer service is horrible. They are basically thieves. It’s clear they have set up a shady scam business out of desperation for money. There is nothing of value with this company or service.

As with many other reviews, it is clear that this is a money-grabbing scam that lures you in to believing you are signing up to a trial (totally fine) but the trial is in fact a 1 year contract. Surely this is illegal. Have notified the Consumer Watchdog of this.

Got my LTD from AppSumo about 4 years ago. I'm using Soundraw to create all my background music for all my videos. Easy to use and perfect results.

Unscrupulous business practices (read online). Aside from that the music is absolute garbage. It literally generates 1 song that is ever so slightly tweaked on each generation. Trash, use Suno or Uido or any of the others instead. I like many others got hoodwinked into a years sub and regret it. Read online reviews and you will see a common theme. AVOID

I signed up just to try the platform, but it didn’t suit my needs, so I canceled my subscription shortly after.
Despite this, they charged me $225, claiming I had selected a “yearly installment plan.”

After reaching out to support multiple times, they partially refunded me…
but then charged the exact same amount again on the same day!

Even now, my account is still not deleted. The Stripe subscription is still active, and there’s a constant risk of further automatic charges.
I tried to remove my card, but couldn’t. There’s no real way to fully stop or close the system.

This should’ve been a simple cancellation — something that takes just a few hours.
But I’ve been stuck dealing with this for 3 days straight, and it’s still unresolved.

Be warned: it’s very easy to join, but almost impossible to leave.
There’s no account deletion, and you lose control once you sign up.

Absolutely Not Recommended

My experience with Soundraw has been nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot recommend this platform to anyone, especially to professionals or content creators who value reliability, originality, and ethical business practices.

Soundraw’s customer service is abysmal. Cancelling a subscription is nearly impossible – requests are ignored, and the company keeps charging your account regardless of your clear instructions to cancel. In one shocking case, they continued to withdraw money from a child’s account for an entire year, even after repeated cancellation requests. This is not just unprofessional, it’s outright predatory. If you subscribe, be prepared to go to extreme lengths—like cancelling your credit card—just to stop being charged.

The platform is riddled with technical problems. Frequent crashes, slow and laggy performance, and a clunky interface make using Soundraw a frustrating ordeal. Many features simply don’t work as advertised, and the overall functionality is far below industry standards. The bugs and lack of clear instructions make the platform feel unfinished and unreliable.

Despite marketing itself as a royalty-free solution, Soundraw exposes users to copyright claims, especially on YouTube. This is a dealbreaker for any content creator. Getting a copyright strike can destroy your channel’s credibility and revenue, and Soundraw offers little real support for resolving these issues. The fact that they had to create a dedicated PDF just to help users contest copyright claims says it all.

The music generated by Soundraw is repetitive, formulaic, and lacks any real creativity. Tracks sound almost identical, and customization options are severely limited. If you’re hoping for variety or anything beyond generic elevator music, you’ll be sorely disappointed. The platform restricts your choices so much that even basic creative needs can’t be met.

Soundraw’s output is best described as “AI-generated muzak”—bland, soulless background filler that does nothing to advance creativity. It’s a tool for those who don’t care about quality, and its very existence raises questions about the devaluation of real musicians and composers.

Soundraw is a deeply flawed product with unethical business practices, unreliable technology, copyright risks, and uninspired results. Save your time, money, and creative energy—look elsewhere for your music needs. One star is generous.

BEWARE - Misleading Service & No Refunds!

I’m an experienced audio producer working for years in media with also a background in news reporting here in the US. I signed up for this service hoping to access usable music beds for radio and TV Spots. What I found instead was a disappointing, misleading platform that doesn’t deliver on its promises.

Extremely limited genre options. Their "Country Music" category, for example, is completely unrelated to actual country music.

Not the best audio quality and weak arrangements.

Track lengths are inconsistent and unusable without editing.

I couldn’t create a single music bed that worked for my needs, despite paying for a full year upfront, which clearly was my mistake.

The worst part? There’s no trial period and absolutely no refunds, even when the product clearly doesn’t meet expectations. My refund request was flat-out denied. I’m now disputing the charge through my Visa credit card company.

Avoid this service. Trust the reviews.

I signed up to try the AI music generator and paid $32 for one month. I didn’t really like the platform — it wasn’t what I expected and didn’t work for me. So I canceled my subscription. Then, to my shock, I was charged $357.39 for a full year after I canceled. This felt completely unfair and misleading. I never agreed to an annual plan, and I clearly canceled on my own.

We reached out to their support email asking for help — and no one responded. Being charged for something I don’t use, then ignored when asking for a refund, is really upsetting. I just want this resolved and hope no one else goes through the same experience.

Following my cancellation, I was unexpectedly charged twice. As a result, I have decided to cancel my VISA card and report the matter, as the situation appears to be fraudulent. My account has not been updated accordingly and still indicates upcoming charges within the next two weeks. I initially contacted customer support on April 17th, but I have yet to receive any response. This experience reflects a deeply concerning lack of service and accountability.

I've had nothing but fun using Soundraw. I use it a lot to create tracks for company presentations. Less so for writing original music because I've spent decades writing music the "old way" and have a lot of very specific ideas when I write songs - there aren't enough controls to get Soundraw to work in that use case. Hoping for upgrades in the future!!

I am not a power user of things like SOUNDRAW so I am still learning as I go. Despite that, I have still been able to create some great tracks for my reels videos on Instagram and Facebook, as well as YouTube shorts.

The Real online frauds. I paid for the creator plan and in my dashboard shows the same. But, I can't download any music from it. Whenever I try it shows, This site can’t be reached.

Supposed to be free get you to sign up.. only then to tell you to pay to download the track total waste of time...

Great product which has listened to its users and expanded the functionality of the application. I actually find it superior to others.
