If it were possible to leave a minus number of stars, I would have.
Sadly, for the next few months, I am *in* an overpriced, badly maintained, NEVER cleaned, hazardous to health and met with lies, subterfuge, and terrible customer service, Spark And Sons flat.
It's SO bad here Council Health and Safety have had to be called in, and found them failing on NINE of the licences for a House of Multiple Occupancy.
The house has no cleaner for communal areas, is disgustingly dusty and dirty, all complaints are summarily dismissed, and they get very upset if you talk to your neighbours about the situation.
The "communal" cooking and laundry area is a fly-infested, rancid abomination of a space, and the stench is unbearable.
Spark and Sons want your money (and a LOT of it) and do not give two hoots about you and your health whilst in their property, even if THEY are the cause of it. So far, three tenants have developed coughs and worsened bronchial infections, one tenant is living in a flooded apartment, and four tenants have had their vacuum cleaners broken due to plaster dust ingress, all of which this shower of a company refuse to admit ANY liability for. In fact this very day I have been threatened by email to not discuss anyone's problems or tenancies other than my own. That's really not gonna fly.

Please, for the love of your Deity of choice, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Stay away one of the worst estate I've used so many issues with them

Spark & Sons are nice until you sign — then they disappear. Emails and calls go unanswered, staff constantly cover for each other, and nothing ever gets resolved.
They knowingly show run-down properties, often without lights on, and fail to provide inventories. Deposit withholding is standard practice — expect delays, false claims, and a fight to get your own money back.
In my opinion, they are crooks and the worst letting agency in Brighton.
Avoid them unless you enjoy stress, dishonesty, and chasing your deposit.

it had been very difficult to find a studio flat to rent, I contacted spark and sons regarding one of the properties they had listed. I was put in contact with jade from spark and sons and she has been very helpful and reliable throughout the whole process. if anyone’s struggling to get accepted for a property I would highly recommend asking to speak to jade as she will do her best to find a solution for you.

This letting agency is one of the worst out there. I was about to raise a complaint to court because they are not responding to emails or will just tell you they are working on it and nothing happens! Multiple calls and emails with no response. The deposit is not protected in a Deposit Protection Scheme and now I am charged of the cleaning fee for the flat I have left clean compared to when I first arrived there! Ridiculously unfair! All the pictures and video are saved carefully and will definitely dispute all of this until I get what I deserve.
