My experience with SPG UK Group Ltd and individuals associated with the company, including Callum Laithwaite Smith and Stephen Quayle, has been extremely concerning, disappointing, and unprofessional.
I invested based on representations regarding project progress, timelines, and expected returns. Since then, the timelines and explanations provided have changed often and significantly, and commitments made to me have not been honoured.
A refund was also promised to me, however this has still not been received despite repeated assurances.
I would strongly advise anyone considering investing to carry out extensive independent due diligence, seek independent legal and financial advice, and ensure they are fully comfortable with the risks, structure, and repayment mechanisms before transferring any funds.
Based on my personal experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending others invest.
There is also a Facebook group called “SPG Discussion” where individuals are sharing and discussing their experiences.
I am currently pursuing formal recovery processes through solicitors.
