I have been a verified customer with Spree and have previously completed account redemptions without any issues. Recently, after submitting a $3,000 redemption to my verified debit card—a payment method I previously used for a successful payout—my account was suddenly flagged with a generic "Account Blocked" error message upon login.
I have received zero explanation via email regarding why my account was restricted. I emailed both Spree Support and Legal on October 22nd, followed up on October 24th, and have still received no response or clarification.
I have fully complied with all Terms of Service and have complete ownership documentation and bank statements ready for all debit and credit cards ever used on my account. Completely locking an account and ignoring support tickets when a large redemption is requested is unacceptable behavior for a sweepstakes operator.
I am requesting that upper management review my account (registered under my email), contact me directly to collect any required verification documents, restore my account access, and process my pending $3,000 redemption immediately.
*Update: 12 hours after posting my original review, I received a blanket, automated template response rom Spree Customer Support (Juli) stating that my account was flagged for "non-compliance with Terms of Service" and that they reserve the right to restrict access.
Crucially, they failed to cite a single specific rule, section, or piece of evidence showing what was supposedly violated. As a fully verified customer who previously received payouts to this exact same debit card, I have adhered strictly to all platform terms. I have complete card ownership documentation and bank statements ready to prove full ownership of every payment method ever used on the account, yet Spree refuses to even allow document submission or clarify their claim.
Locking an account, withholding $3000 in legit redemption funds, and issuing a non-specific canned emails when a customer asks for clarification is completely unacceptable behavior for a sweepstakes operator.
I am demanding that upper management manually review this case, specify the exact issue, and release my pending redemption or process a full return of my deposits.
*FINAL UPDATE*: Spree has officially issued a final refusal to return my $2,825 in deposits or my $3,000 redemption balance. Despite multiple direct requests, they refused to cite a single specific section of their Terms of Service that was supposedly violated, offering only blanket template denials while blocking my account access. Bank chargebacks have been initiated to recover my funds. Be extremely cautious.
