Jacket fell apart after a few wears!!
So i bought a jacket from an official Spyder reseller. The jacket was produced in 2018. Looked great and like it. I wore it for one week and then had the next season cancelled due to Covid. Before i wore again i washed it on a low 30 degree wash cycle ( less than the 40%) on the label. It looked fine when i took it out but at the airport, i noticed it started to fall apart. All the glue around the pockets gave up and the jacket is now useless. Will never touch Spyder again. Poor quality behind the style and branding!

I am so disappointed and upset that I have spent $80 on shipping AND still am out $400 for a snowsuit that has not been refunded yet. There is NO human being associated with their customer service. No one to call and speak to. It’s criminal. I intend to follow up and to tell all my students and friends and family about what happened.
What an awful company
What an awful company. I've been trying to get a response from their customer service email for over a month. They will not respond. I've reached out to all social media channels and they do not respond. I contacted the BBB, and they can't get a response. This is the worst company I've ever had to deal with. I had simple questions on price adjustments and needed help with a return. They just take your money and run. Don't be fooled by the Olympians wearing their items.
Do not buy from Spyder. If you need help, they'll ignore you.

Purchased items online but was shipped someone else’s order. The company expects me to do all of the administration to return their mistake, incur costs before they will send me my items. All their mistake, but I have to fix it. More worryingly as part of this process they have suggested I use an incorrect invoice on the customs declaration!!!! I’m now just trying to get a refund…..I fully expect this to be as difficult as the actual purchase & delivery.
Spyder Jacket / Merch Credit Issues
We would give them a zero if we could. I bought a winter Spyder jacket for our son in 2020. Within two months of use the armpit linings ripped. We returned per their policy. They couldn’t fix it so offered us a credit to use after September 2021. Tried to use it after that time and it is invalid. Have been trying to get in touch with the company multiple times - no response. The BBB has been unable to help but we have reported it to the CO AG’s office. Spyder will not be on our purchasing list for future ski seasons to come.
Spyder Olympic Paid Endorsement Zero Customer Service
When you purchase equipment for an expensive sport like skiing you would like to think a company as popular as Spyder would have excellent customer service. Think again! Spyder wants your business 1 time and has no concern for repeat business or any interest in quality customer service. Do not waste money on Spyder. They only have notoriety because the pay for the Olympic endorsement. Ride your success while you can Spyder! Your 15 minutes are soon to be over.

Spyder has gone down hill! I received pants that were to small. I returned them and asked fo refund. They have stalled the return process for months now. Guess I should of reviewed reviews. I will never bye from this company again. This kind of service is not acceptable. I will tell all who will listen.

Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve received from an online retailer. None of their phone numbers listed online work, their customer service email does not respond to customers, and their brand social media accounts ignore any and all messages and comments from customers desperately trying to get in touch. They were more than happy to take my money but couldn’t provide me with any sort of time frame for shipping and gave me no way to cancel my order. See above: also couldn’t contact them to cancel my order. I had to file a charge back with my credit card company to get my money back.

Sad and disappointed in my once beloved Syder products/customer service!
I will start this by saying I have purchased only Spyder products for years and was very happy. That said, I started a warranty claim on February 17, 2021. First, I will say I do acknowledge COVID it’s effects, and give grace. On March 1st O sent in a jacked. On March 21st I had not heard anything and followed up by email. I received a reply on March, 24, 2021 saying they were unable to repair the jacket and asked that I select a replacement. I responded on the same day. I never received the replacement. I followed up several times with no response. Finally, on June 22, 2021 a different representative reached out to me telling me the option I selected was unavailable. We concluded that I would receive a credit to replace it that I could use free September 1st and was given a code. On September 24th, I tried to redeem the code, which did not work. Again, I reached out several times asking for help and explaining the situation. As of today, 11/2 I have not heard from the company with resolution. I did some research today and see something about a possible chapter 11. I am not sure what changed with this company but I am extreme disappointed and frustrated. It is my hope that this review will help someone else. Best of luck.

SPYDER GLOVES DON'T FIT AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE - I purchased a pair of Spyder Overweb GTX ski gloves because i have worn similar Spyder gloves for years and have in the past liked them. I always buy a medium. However, these gloves don't remotely fit. The fingers are way too snug and the thumb not only is too short, but is sewn in a way that seriously restricts movement and so that most human beings could not possibly be comfortable wearing them. I tried to return them to Spyder but initially they said it was too late. That was nonsense and clearly untrue. After I complained they relented but refused to pay me what their own policies stated. After I complained again they agreed to pay me a little more which I agreed to. But when they gave me the credit, it was only for the initial amount I had rejected. Don't buy from these people. They don't make a good product and their customer service is untrustworthy.

BUYERS BEWARE - If I could give zero stars I would. I bought an £800 coat (Spyder Womens Transit GTX Infinium Down Parka) in Jan 2021. Washed in mid March for first time and the down is bulked up in some places and thin as tissue paper in others making it utterly useless within 2 months. Customer service also useless. This brand is like COVID-19....TO BE AVOIDED. AND THE VACCINE IS TO BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND.

Worst customer service I have ever received. I ordered a $300+ item and paid for overnight shipping on Dec 19th. It is now Jan 5th and I still don't have my item, they won't offer any type of discount, and I have had to reach out to them over a dozen times to get any answers. I will never purchase something from them again. This is an example of the email response you can expect from their company.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I ordered a jacket that their website advertised as being warmer than two jackets combined, and when it came, it was the same thickness as a rain coat. NO insulation whatsoever in a jacket marketed for skiing. When I discovered that this jacket would never work for skiing in the Rockies, I went to return the item, which mysteriously showed as unreturnable, despite checking the return policy and the item itself. When I called customer service and explained that this was not indicated on the product itself or on my receipt, customer service agreed with me and said they would give me store credit or a refund. When I called back a week later to follow up, I was told that the request was denied by corporate. I asked for an explanation and the customer service person told me verbatim "we don't have to give you an explanation". When I reiterated that this was an incredibly expensive purchase to mysteriously not get a refund or credit for, I was told "most items are even more expensive than what you bought", basically rubbing it in my face that they frequently take even more money from customers via their unethical return policy. I don't even have words for how horrible my experience with Spyder has been. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY

Spider claims to be a great high quality brand. They do NOT stand behind their products or let you return items. So they charge a lot of money for their products, but they do not let you return or exchange them. They need to get with it and get into how the world works today! They are awful as a company....my family and I will never purchase from them again...potential buyers STAY AWAY
What a scam
What a scam! I ordered some ski pants on December 9, and received them on the 15th. They were much smaller than I expected, and I wanted to return or exchange. After contacting customer service they created a "case number" and sent a message that they were non-returnable. Nowhere on the order page does it indicate this item is non-returnable. I will continue fighting the charge, as I paid a lot of money for this and just want to return it.
BUYER BEWARE OF RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY
I ordered my first Spyder ski jacket and pants online during Black Friday. I followed their sizing guides exactly but when I received the merchandise, the jacket and the pants were both too small.
I contacted customer service multiple times and they do not do exchanges....I did not realize I was on the clearance page as I looked at so many items and they don't say anything as you complete your purchase telling you that you are purchasing a clearance item which is not eligible for return OR exchange.
There was also nothing on my receipt indicating they were clearance items.
Now I have a very expensive ski jacket and pants that I can not wear.
Very disappointed with this experience to not even allow an exchange.
Customer service could not be worse
I am shocked this company is even in business and not litigated out of existence. Saying "bad customer service" would be too mild and a great understatement. They are willingly and openly misrepresenting the facts, having no problem openly acknowledging that. I purchased a jacket from them, and on that jacket's page it stated, in black and white, "returns allowed". Yet, they have been refusing to take a return and issue a refund, while fully agreeing that this is what their website said. In essence, their business strategy is to mislead customers upfront in an attempt to maximize sales, and they seem to be fully comfortable with that. And it didn't stop there. Once I disputed the charge with the credit card company, they replied to the credit card company stating that they'd offer a refund if the jacket is returned. Yet, when I called them, they, yet again, refused to take this return - pretty surreal...

I purchased a jacket from their website on December 2019 for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. While I was heading home, I was less than a block away from my house When I got an alert from UPS that my package was deliver front door, I was so excited expecting to see my package when I got home. When I finally got home It seem strange cause I would of seen the UPS driver but he wasn’t there. So I go up the stairs and my package wasn’t there! I was like wait a minute! Why isn’t my package here? I called ups many times they told me to file a report and I did, many times! I sent countless of emails to spyder customer service and they never responded Until recent saying “Hi ~Thanks for contacting Spyder! I'm so sorry to say we've discovered a glitch in our system caused some emails to be quarantined rather than received, and we believe that yours was one of them.”
LIKE SERIOUSLY AFTER ALL THIS TIME!!!! I FEEL LIKE I WAS SCAMMED!!! They took my money and I didn’t get my purchase!!!! Till this day idk what happen to the jacket idk if ups misplaced it or stoled it! they never found out about my package i tried to call and email everyday and nothing I tried to email
