A truly tailored, bespoke service and solution. Althea and her team were knowledgeable, professional, warm and relatable, and took the utmost care and time to ensure our holiday was the perfect combination of what was wanted and needed to suit our family.

Althea is highly passionate and engaged throughout the whole booking and planning process, and our experience while on holiday was of the highest quality and care; with a dedicated guide and driver (Gihan and Asanka), a flexible and considered itinerary and a wealth of local knowledge, passion and wisdom, we couldn’t have had a better experience; a warm, welcoming, accommodating and luxury service.

We hope to see the other parts of Sri Lanka that we couldn’t cover in this trip at some point under the care of the Sri Lanka bespoke team!

In July 2024, we had the most memorable trip with Sri Lanka Bespoke. Althea created the best itinerary for our family of five with three young kids featuring culture, tea country, trains, history, nature, safari and beaches. She was brilliant at balancing our travel time, kids’ attention spans and various interests of the group. There was so much attention to detail and special experiences along the way including a visit to a Buddhist Sunday school with a blessing from a monk, cultural dance performance and special animal encounters for the kids. Our amazing guide Gihan was with us the whole trip and tailored everything for us depending on our needs. We felt so safe and looked after, even when my son had an accident and needed to get stitches. We would highly recommend Sri Lanka Bespoke!

Althea from Sri Lanka Bespoke arranged for us the most fabulous family vacation in Sri Lanka. We were a party of nine adults celebrating a big birthday ant two wedding anniversaries. From the earliest planning meeting, she considered and facilitated our various requests, dietary and activity preferences, and wishes. Her knowledge of Sri Lanka and advice was impressive. From the moment we landed in Sri Lanka we were looked after by our delightful, knowledgeable, and kind guide, Gihan, an absolute gentleman and now a friend, and his helpful team. Our trip encompassed, amongst other things, some dazzling cultural highlights, superb hotels, one of which I would describe as being exquisite, an elephant sanctuary, a trip to a small family cinnamon farm, three birdwatching trips – I observed, with the help of various guides, seventy-one species of birds - and a safari. The cuisine in all the hotels was very special not to mention some pretty good cocktails. An unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend Althea and Sri Lanka Bespoke highly enough.
