Wow Wow Wow. Pulasthi our driver was absolutely fantastic. He was a star from start to finish and had the best sense of humour. Informative about everything to do with Sri Lanka and he was very flexible with all our timings. He stopped many times for us to try the best fruit enroute as well as obtained great tickets to the Kandy traditional dancing. We always felt comfortable and safe and will definitely return to Sri Lanka and ask for him. A lovely family man who made our time memorable.

We spent 12 days travelling around Sri Lanka with Prasad as our driver, and I honestly can’t imagine the trip without him. From the first day, he was friendly, reliable and always right on time. He helped us plan each day in the best possible way — suggesting when to visit certain places, where to eat, and even when it’s better to skip a stop to avoid crowds.

He knows the island inside out and shared so many interesting things along the way. Driving in Sri Lanka isn’t easy, but with him we always felt completely safe and relaxed, even on mountain roads or in busy towns.

One of the nicest memories was when we decided very early in the morning to go to Sigiriya. I called him around 5 a.m. and he was there in minutes, cheerful as always, ready to take us.

Prasad isn’t just a great driver — he really cares. He checked if we had enough water, if we were tired, and made sure everything went smoothly. We are very grateful for his kindness and would recommend him to anyone travelling in Sri Lanka.

From the moment we contacted the agency, we received a quick and helpful response, they helped us create a route and assigned us upul, a charming and smiling driver, always ready to help, flexible and adapts himself to our needs and requests, knowledgeable in the area and knows how to recommend restaurants and hotels. He accompanied us everywhere, to every site, to every entrance. He spoke good English, it was pleasant To be in his presence. Upul is a caring and calm person. He always arrives on time. We had a problem with gluten sensitivity in the food. He always made sure to come with us and explain the problem to the locals. He even called restaurants in advance to find out. we really couldn't have asked for more, we got the best and We highly recommend him.

AMAZING & SAFE DRIVER/GUIDE EXPERIENCE

We contacted Sri Lanka Private Driver, when still in Denmark, and Shiyan was very helpful with arranging the route and Pick up at the airport.

We felt very lucky when arriving in Sri Lanka and was giving Upul as our driver for 7 days. He was not just our driver, but felt more like guide and friend. VERY safe driving, and helped us with everything. Arranging hotels, safaris, train-tickets, made restaurant reservations and made sure that we saw everything we wanted on the 1 week tour to sigiriya, Ella, Yala and Mirissa. Everywhere Upul had friends/contacts, so he could help ud arrange all that we wanted.

I made contact with the company and everything was easy. I did a 6 day trip with Upul who picked me up in Midigama, did all the major spots and ended in Sigirya and then Colombo Airport. Upul had fantastic recommendations for activities and local authentic places to eat and even adapted the itinerary on the spot to my tastes and challenged me to wake up early and do more than I was expecting. I always felt safe with Upul's smooth driving, so safe that I felt asleep many times in the passenger seat. The car was always clean and had good AC and had space to keep my surfboard safe. I highly recommend this company and Upul.

We used this company for a 12 day trip travelling round Sri Lanka - from Colombo, down the west coast to Yala, Ella and Sigiriya.
Our driver Upul was greatly knowledgeable on local sites and stop offs along the way - he recommended and helped to book restaurants, surfing lessons, and an elephant safari that was a highlight of the trip. We felt totally safe and relaxed in his car at all times, despite driving through some tropical weather conditions.

Amazing trip made perfect by Upul our private driver. Upul picked us up from the airport and stayed with us the whole time during our 6 day trip. We went all over Sri Lanka and he recommended some great stops a long the way, local food, bats, waterfalls. As well as being very knowledgeable on all the places in Sri Lanka he was very kind and generous. Would recommend to anyone considering a private driver and will be keeping his contact for all our friends and family that plan on visiting Sri Lanka.

I emailed to arrange the trip, to collection and the trip it's self it was a breeze! Shiyan collected us exactly on time from Colombo Airport and we got into his lovely car. There was mineral water for us in the car and there was wifi too which helps make the journey pass by quicker.
When we got to cultural sites Shiyan recommended a couple of places to visit and to eat as local at.
Sri Lanka was great with plenty to see and do.

We had a very wonderful trip through Sri Lanka, because we had a super good private driver - Upul. He drove very carefully and very sure. There was never a dangerous situation in the streets, because he drove so good.
He helped us with searching the best accomodations, he helped my husband (over 70, problems with his knee) climbing Sigiriya (Lion) and Pidurangala Rock. He had good ideas for restaurants. We were very happy to have such a good accompaniment! We can recommend Upul and we thank him!

I've recently been on holidays in Sri Lanka with my two sons and it's been one of the best trips of my life. We found this private driver company on Internet and contacted them. They responded and helped us with our itinerary. Our driver Upul was waiting for us at the airport. He's turned out to be a great professional and a better person. Always punctual, he's shown up sharp on time every morning. Polite and cheerful, he has kept the vehicle clean and in perfect conditions. Sri Lanka Private Driver planned a wonderful 6 days and 7 nights tour for us. They also provided us the best tour chauffeur and guide, Mr. Shiyan Fazool who I would highly recommend you ask for to visit all the beautiful destinations in Sri Lanka. Beautiful hotels and rooms have been selected for our comfort and the Sri Lankan food is better tasting at the breakfast/dinner buffets. The car drives between destinations was safe and smooth. We could sleep peacefully while Mr. Shiyan drove us through the countryside and winding hills of Sri Lanka. All in all, a great way to get a glimpse of a country that has such a diverse culture and history.
