I would like to commend Stanford Moving Company for their obvious great business practices!
They call when they say they will, they provide ample packing materials for their moving staff to utilize . They immediately engendered our trust to the company.
But from the customer’s point of view, it is the direct moving staff is the most important. My husband Ed and I were simply ASTOUNDED by the professionalism, friendliness and extremely industrious work ethic of our moving team!! Roman and Alex were consummate employees; they were on time, they explained everything they were doing and they genuinely listened to our concerns!! These two young men are a tremendous asset to Stanford!! Their actions and skills- both verbal and physical, were gold standard!! We could tell immediately that we got the jackpot.
My Mom died just 15 days ago, and when I told them one lamp was from her and dear to me, they took extra good care of it. They did so voluntarily!
I had friends come over and they commented, after watching Roman and Alex working non-stop, that they would like to engage Stanford IF they would guarantee that Roman and Alex would be their professionals!! Roman and Alex had to let my husband and I know that they couldn’t predict where they would be scheduled when we were scheduled for our drop off!
All I can say to Stanford is that Roman and Alex are a credit to your company and we were so fortunate to have them moving us!!! They are incredible assets for your business!!

Job # A5409376 Ivan and zhenya did a great job on boxing up and wrapping up all of our items. They were very careful and took the time to do it right. They had extra blankets and boxes that they loaded up with our odd shaped furniture. They were very respectful of us and our home.

These men were amazing! Miguel and Serge were efficient and hard workers. Everything that wrapped up and delivered flawlessly. I would recommend them!

Great moving company. Packed everything very nicely and even gave me a discount! They were on time and very responsive and handled all my things with care. I will be using them again if I need to move! Communication on 10 and was always very clear.

Miguel and Sergue made my move yesterday effortlessly and stress free.
How can I begin to tell you how these two gentlemen took “ care of “ of my move. It was obvious Sergue was in training. What caught my attention was how well he took direction from Miguel. The patience Miguel displayed to this young man, need to NOT go unrecognized.My sister and I were working against a timeline trying to get ready for our 9am pickup. Alex our original driver never showed? Never called, never cared. What company does that? Alex, wherever you are THANKS. Well in steps Miguel and Sergue from Standford Van Lines to save the day. They were on time, instep, innovative, meticulously in sync , professional ,from the moment they arrived until the end. They were exhausting to watch but inspiring as the job they performed was all in a days work . My new home has the sense of relief thanks to SVL and Miguel and Surgue.

The moving company was kind, and moved things quickly and safely. They organized things as expected. Would recommend

I booked this move through SafeShip Moving Services, who brokered a contract with Stanford for the logistics. It was a move from IL to FL. SafeShip quoted 2-12 business days, Stanford quoted 3-15, but their contracts always stipulate up to 30 business days, so that quote is really irrelevant since they aren’t really held to it, especially for interstate deliveries.

I didn't have any significant issues with pickup of the items - that was smooth and I left a separate review directly after that experience because the guys who helped did a solid job (they also are incentivized to request good reviews).

For the dropoff, Stanford dispatch had "issues" getting a driver assigned for the trip from IL to FL (likely just didn't have a full load for the semi trailer yet), so it took them 17 business days from my "First Available Delivery" date (Mar 1) to get the items to me (picked up Feb 26, dropped off Mar 24). I had to live with what I brought in my car with me and buy other essentials along the way during that entire month-long timeframe.

The only reason they don't get 1 star is because the dropoff driver, Andrii, was indeed helpful. He was by himself, but managed to get all of the items, including two large desks, up to my second floor apartment, used a Uhaul from another dropoff to bring my items as well, and insisted on helping me put my bed together. He did say he would be arriving between 2-6pm and came at 4:30 with no belongings to scout whether he’d be able to fit the semi into the apartment complex... I had a meeting right at 6, so we agreed he would return at 6:30, and we got things moved in thereafter. It was inconvenient yet again, but I've been waiting a month, what's an extra 30 minutes.

For anyone considering utilizing these groups, be very specific going in with expectations. Make your FAD the earliest date possible, confirm that you don't have more than the 14 stair allotment (extra charge), and make sure you can get a 75ft 18 wheeler within 70-80 feet of your front door - if you can't, expect to be upcharged $400+ for a shuttle (Uhaul) on day of delivery, or pray for a considerate driver.

Otherwise, okay experience.

The two movers were very professional and respectful. Let me know exactly what was going on and loaded everything. Everything looks great and there were no issues.

Visyl and Ihor were fabulous! They made the whole moving experience stress-free and easy. They were very professional and worked quickly to ensure we had my father-in-law in his new home in no time! Would highly recommend!

I want tolet everyone know that Daniel and Kenny did an amazing job with making sure everything was wrapped a d taped. They respected my furniture and took very good care of all my pieces I have to move. They are the best.
