We had an incredible experience today at Stansted Flight Simulator with our 10-year-old son, it far exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Johnathan was outstanding: friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about aviation. He started early and went above and beyond by finishing late, making sure our son had the most immersive and enjoyable time possible.

The simulator itself was top-notch, realistic, exciting, and educational. Our son was completely captivated throughout and hasn’t stopped talking about it since! It’s rare to find something that blends fun and learning so seamlessly, and this did just that.

A huge thank you to Johnathan for making it such a memorable day. Highly recommended for kids (and adults!) who love flying or just want a unique and unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

The simulator experience is incredible - from the cockpit, the screens to the weather!

Everything really was great and we ended up going over time a little due to bad weather and we had to make a detour!

Whilst my wife bought this experience as a gift for me, it was wonderful they she could also be at the back of the cockpit in the ‘jump’ seat to enjoy the experience too!

Absolutely Fantastic Flight Simulation Experience!

I booked this flight simulation as a surprise for my sister who’s obsessed with aviation, and it exceeded every expectation. I had originally booked somewhere else who unfortunately let us down last minute, but in the end I’m glad that they cancelled and we were able to come here instead! It truly was a professional and immersive setup. The simulator was custom-built by the host and his son several years ago, and their passion shows in every detail.

Our host, a former pilot, was knowledgeable, welcoming and incredibly kind. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. His love for aviation is infectious, and he made the entire experience both educational and exciting.

We felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived. My sister had a wonderful time and so did I; despite not loving aviation anywhere as much as she does! This was more than just a simulation; it was an educational, fun and joyful experience. I would 100% recommend this to anyone, whether you’re a flight enthusiast or simply looking for a unique and memorable activity.

A fun two hour simulator session expertly led by experienced pilot Jonathan - thoroughly recommended!

Jonathan is a very accommodating person as I was having some health issues ie my elbow and shoulder blade and he allowed me right up to the morning of my booking to be able to cancel.

I am so very thankful that I did attend as he was very pleasant and understanding of my situation. He talked me through all the procedures, what a great experience I had that day.

I would highly recommend anyone of all ages to try this.

Jonathan explained everything so well. The instructions were very clear and simple as-well. I had a great time flying the simulator and will come back soon!

The unique experience of ‘flying’ a Boeing 737 with a qualified pilot was excellent!

Jonathan’s guidance and patience, ensured I assimilated as much of a ‘real’ flight as possible. Thus a safe landing at Manchester was achieved.

We had Jonathan as an Instructor on the day and he was excellent . He accommodated us at last minute as another company let us down. Jonathan was friendly and very polite and welcoming. Jonathan is very knowledgeable and passionate about aviation. He was not clock watching and we in fact went over the 1hr purchased. I would say 1hr is more than sufficient . Its an impressive set up by father and son. Dont be put off by the residential location.

I've no previous experience of flying but I really enjoyed my visit to SFS. The cockpit controls were very well explained, and then I was let loose on the flight to Manchester. Some of it was hands on flying, and some of it was making use of the autopilot. Seeing all the modern day flying aids and cockpit controls was fascinating, and the time seemed to fly by. I was very impressed by the simulator, and completely forgot I was on the ground. Jonathon was excellent at teaching me what I needed to know, and made the visit a pleasure. I'd recommend it to anyone who flies anywhere and wants to know what they do up at the front end.

Excellent pilot who made the whole experience enjoyable and realistic. The cabin and simulator are really impressive and I've never known two hours go by so quickly. Highly recommend.

I was quite anxious about attending, as I am quite a nervous person and suffer from a few health conditions that made it possible I had to cancel at short notice. Jonathan was very understanding of this over email.

In person, Jonathan was funny, understanding, and very easy to get along with. The simulator itself was fun, and Jonathan had set it up for my preference of flying from Manchester to Stansted Airport. Thankfully, I had great weather on the day which was replicated in the simulator.

I was able to complete the flight, and especially enjoyed the second half where I was able to get a lot more involved with the control switches.

I really enjoyed this experience.

Another Fantastic Experience at Stansted Flight Simulator!

I’ve just completed my second visit to Stansted Flight Simulator, and it was every bit as incredible as the first—if not better!

Since this was my second session, Jonathan provided slightly less instruction this time and encouraged me to recall my previous training to complete the 737 flight from Stansted to Manchester Airport. His approach was spot on—gently pushing me to apply what I had already learned while still being there to guide me when needed.

The level of realism is just outstanding. From takeoff to landing, every moment felt like I was at the controls of a real aircraft. The immersive visuals, the fully functional cockpit, and Jonathan’s expert tuition made it an absolutely unforgettable experience.

I can’t recommend Stansted Flight Simulator highly enough. Whether it’s your first visit or you’re returning for more, you’ll be amazed at how much you learn and how thrilling it is. I’ll definitely be back for another flight soon!

Got bought this as a birthday present in December and got to use it today ! Wow what a set up and lots of hard work and hours put in to make for an amazing realistic inflight experience.

For an aviation fan it’s top notch and is delivered so well and professionally !
Highly recommend and now it’s left me wanting my own one.

I had an incredible experience at Stansted Flight Simulator on February 21, 2025! Jonathan and Harrison were very friendly and professional, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The simulator itself was incredibly realistic, and I felt like I was truly piloting a plane. It was a fun, immersive adventure that I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in aviation. A must-visit for flight enthusiasts and I hope to return someday soon.

Jonathan was fantastic. He understood my requests ie landing plane on auto pilot being talked down by at.

Incredible expierence!

I loved every second of my 2 hour flight expierence, it is just like flying a real aircraft. Jonathan is very knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be booking again in the future, highly recomend!

A Christmas present for my 15 year old son Jack & what a great purchase !
From the start Jonathan put Jack at ease and throughout passed on his knowledge in a calm and informative manner.
The 2 hours flew by (no pun intended)!
All in all it has given Jack more interest in a career in the Aviation Industry

I booked one hour for my aviation-mad 12 year-old’s birthday present. I wish I’d booked 2 hours - what a fabulous experience!
Jonathan was very patient and explained everything perfectly. I got to sit in the jump seat, with a great view, but the simulator was so good I was dying to have a go myself! It was so realistic and Jonathan offered a really interesting insight into the world of the airline pilot.
We will definitely be booking this again.
