I had a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience with this company due to a complete lack of pricing transparency.
​I was originally quoted £165 over the phone for a mobile call-out to repair one tyre and replace another with a new one. When the technician arrived at my home, he determined that the tyre booked for a repair actually needed to be fully replaced. I was completely fine with getting two new tyres instead of one, but the price suddenly jumped to £210.
​When I questioned this sudden increase:
​The technician called his shop and chose to speak in his own language rather than English, leaving me completely excluded from the conversation about my own bill.
​He then claimed the breakdown was £65 per tyre plus a £75 call-out fee—rates that were never mentioned during my initial phone quote.
​As a woman on my own, the whole situation felt incredibly intimidating. It honestly felt like he was deliberately trying to confuse me with changing numbers just to push the price up, taking advantage of the fact that I was by myself.
​The changing prices, lack of transparency, and unprofessional communication made this a very sketchy experience. I won't be using them again and highly recommend avoiding them, or at least getting a written quote before they arrive.

Fabulous service today’s after a puncture on the M6 we got a replacement tyre at 4.30 on a Saturday in super quick time at a very reasonable cost. Polite on the phone and very helpful. We can continue on our holiday.

Excellent, efficient, friendly and professional service. I needed 3 new tyres. I phoned Ahmed, who dealt with all my requirements, and managed the whole process very well. The tyres needed to be ordered. He phoned back precisely as promised. The friendly team worked quickly and efficiently and I felt the pricing was very competitive and fair value. Would use them again and recommend.

Excellent service. Arrived within 15 minutes of being called on a Sunday, fully kitted out to replace a tyre. The job was done within half an hour. Courteous and efficient, thank you!

The prices are a scam they give you a price over the phone then in person give you a different price they try to do everything for you to buy a new tyre,

Once again cannot fault the service and the price. Would not go anywhere else.

Job was good, however, Item I purchased for 30 pounds was supposed to be part of the deal and was not delivered. If I would go back to them (and I wouldn't) , I wouldn't pay the whole price upfront. (This is a reflection on a an encounter over 2 years ago!- I usually sleep on reviews to make sure I am not driven by emotion).

Was unfortunate to have a flat just before getting on the motorway, they were really quick at getting to me and replacing the tyre and checking others, another was not motorway suitable as badly worn!! Replaced really quickly, can’t recommend enough.

Very organised via booking system. Friendly staff. Will be back again

Two week ago I been make tracking and doing very bad so next day I coming again and still car driving bad so no more coming to star tires

Just took my car in to have the Sensors changed to my new wheels.
Amazing service specially as I hadn't made a note of which tyre was on what part of the car originally
Spent a long time sorting it all out and were still nice to me 😆 🤣

I recently visited Star Tyres to have all four tyres replaced, and I am extremely pleased with the service. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient. Despite being busy, the team worked efficiently, and my tyres were changed within 30 minutes.

A special thanks to Saif, who provided exceptional service—he was knowledgeable, courteous, and ensured everything was done quickly and smoothly.

I've had issues with my car since the day I bought it. The tyres have always deflated quicker than they should. I have gone to many different mechanics and they have never noticed the true reason this has been occurring. Until I came to Star Tyres. I originally went to have a new valve fitted but the staff actually had a look at the wheels properly to see what could have caused these issues. As it turned out, my alloys were in dire need of refurbishment.
A quick phone call to book in my car and I was set to go. They have worked all day on my car to get it into the best condition possible. So not only have they fixed this issue that many others have missed. My wheels look shiny and new as well.

There isn’t an option for ZERO BUT THIS IS A ZERO .. in this incident..
Went for 4 new tyres . Prices roughly ok
Following weeks driving my van when I heard a loud knocking noise .
luckily I was just driving local
Took it to my local garage . When they told me I only had 3 of 5 nuts on .
Snapped a wheel stood leafy one completely off and did not tighten the other 3 up !!
Not good service at all …

My sister has got her tyre done from these people on the 18th August. Today she has been driving and her full tyre has come off the alloy. Rang and spoke to the company and they have offered absolutely zero help. No compensation or anything. Haven’t even offered to drive to her to help her out !!!! Absolutely disgusting
The Tyre had a massive hole in which star tyres have tried to repair and put on the car without anyone noticing. My partner rang star tyres and they straight away wanted nothing to do with it. My sister could have died if she didn’t pull over and star tyres was more bothered about arguing with my partner on the phone regarding a bad review.

Once again great service from the team here. 7 day a week service. And most importantly they don't rip you off.
