These guys should be called Hero movers they really came and save the Day and my move they were kind careful and professional. Thank you guys again see you in Texas for the unload.

We worked with Dennis to move from Boulder CO to San Diego and he was fantastic to work with. The guys did an excellent job and the move was relatively hassle free

My experience with Star Van Lines has been extremely disappointing. I was quoted $4,409 for a long‑distance move from MA to AZ. My things were picked up on Feb 16 and I was told delivery would take 10-14 days from pickup. The quick delivery window is the ONLY reason I decided to use their services.

After my furniture was picked up, communication completely stopped. I reached out on Feb 24 for an update and learned (only because I called) that my belongings were still sitting in Massachusetts. Weather was used as an excuse, even though my items were picked up before the snow storm and sat untouched for 10–12 days. No one notified me of delays, no one explained why my things were moved into storage without my knowledge, and no one could tell me why they weren’t placed on earlier west‑coast trucks.

Instead of accountability, I received defensiveness, rudeness, and repeated references to their “21‑day delivery window,” as if that excused the lack of communication and unnecessary delay. I was never told there were two delivery options (Standard vs. Premium), and I was misled to believe my items would be on a west‑coast truck arriving by Feb 23–25.

My furniture wasn’t actually loaded for transport until Feb 27 (twelve days after pickup) and I was told it would take up to another week to arrive. Meanwhile, I’ve had to buy essentials for myself and my 8‑year‑old because we have nothing to sleep on or use in our home since moving in on the 21st!

I’ve made two long‑distance moves before and have never experienced anything this unacceptable or unreasonable. The lack of honesty, transparency, and basic customer service is unacceptable. I will not be recommending Star Van Lines to anyone and hope they (along with their 3rd party partners) take responsibility for the financial and emotional stress this has caused.

UPDATE: This situation keeps getting worse. I was told by Star Van Lines’ "partner" (A&B Movers) that my furniture was loaded onto a truck Feb 27 for transport on Feb 28 and according to the driver would take a maximum of 7 days. You would think my delivery would arrive March 6–7. This turned out to be completely false.

On March 6, I was told by A&B that my delivery (who they outsourced again to a company named Delpro) would arrive that evening between 6–7pm. At 7:45pm, I got a text from the actual driver saying he wouldn’t arrive until Tuesday–Thursday because his truck had been down for repairs all week and he had only left Massachusetts 8 hours earlier! If you remember from my review I was told my delivery would be transported as of Feb 28. Of course, no one from Star Van Lines or A&B bothered to tell me any of this because they are incompetent at communication.

When I called A&B, they pretended they never called me with the fake delivery time. The Delpro driver was the only person who was apologetic and sympathetic while everyone else has been rude, defensive, and completely unprofessional.

In their Trustpilot reply they tell me to "be patient" and that my delivery will be "delivered on scheduled terms". But now whenever this driver finally gets to AZ to delivery my things it will be beyond their supposed scheduled terms so I wonder what excuse they'll come back with now! And furthermore, how much more patience do you think a customer can have under these circumstances? You had my furniture since Feb 16th! And as you can see, they didn't even apologize in their reply! Would you want to do business with a company like that? When things go wrong they want to stand behind terms and contracts instead of being understanding, sympathetic, and accommodating...This company and their partners are disorganized, misleading, and impossible to trust. I will never recommend them. Please save yourself the stress and choose another mover.

The movers just finished my move from Denver to Boulder , and the whole experience was honestly excellent.Denis and his team were super professional,friendly and incredibly efficient from start to finish They did an amazing job packing my belongings-I’ve never seen anything done so carefully and I’ve moved six times before today. Everything was wrapped,protected and handled with care real attention to detail.Nothing was rushed, nothing was damaged,and communication was great the entire time.The crew showed up on time ,worked hard,and treated my furniture and personal items like their own. Thanks to Star Van Lines,my move was stress-free and smooth,which is rare when it comes to moving.I really appreciate the effort Denis and his team put in an I'll definitely be calling Star Van again the next time I move.

I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a moving company agent. was absolutely unbearable to deal with.

From the very beginning, she called nonstop like a spam caller, sent text messages every few minutes, and flooded my inbox with emails. It felt like harassment rather than customer service. There was no respect for boundaries at all.

On the phone, she was extremely rude, cut me off while I was speaking, and even hung up the call while I was still talking. Completely unprofessional behavior for anyone representing a company.

The pricing was just as bad. She quoted fake amounts, then suddenly changed the numbers, followed by so-called “discounts” that also kept changing. Nothing was clear, transparent, or trustworthy. It felt misleading and dishonest the entire time.

This agent gave me zero confidence in Star Van Lines. If this is how their representatives treat potential customers, I would strongly warn others to stay away. Very stressful, very aggressive, and very unprofessional experience overall.

Worst agent experience ever.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The crew was friendly, easy to communicate with, and showed up on time. We moved a 3-bedroom house, and the process went smoothly. Our belongings were handled carefully, and everything arrived safely and in good condition. Overall, it was a straightforward and stress-free move!

The worst moving experience I’ve ever had.
This company is nothing more than a middleman—one that takes your money upfront and then scrambles to find actual movers to do the job. They quoted me 3–14 days and $1,780 for a move from CO to GA. Instead, it took 41 days, cost $2,495, and came with endless promises of reimbursement that never happened.
I was passed between three different representatives, all “working on my case,” resulting in over 50 emails full of contradictions and excuses. After two weeks with no updates, I contacted them only to be told my shipment was still sitting in Colorado because I “never provided a delivery address.” I had given that information multiple times—both to the company and to the driver who picked up my belongings. And even if so how do you not just call or email and ask??? Super shady company!
The driver that picked up my load didn’t even work for Star Van Lines; he was from a completely different company they outsourced to.

I should have canceled everything right then and rented a U-Haul to do it myself. Instead, after a month of being told my items were “in Texas,” I found out they had never left Colorado. Why do they lie so much? So many times they told me they would call me back in a certain amount of time but I would end up having to hunt them down contacting all numbers and emails.

There’s much more to this nightmare. I have emails, call logs, screenshots, and full documentation showing just how unprofessional and deceptive this company is. If anyone wants proof, I’m happy to share.
Please save yourself the stress—do NOT use this company.

Moved a 3-bedroom down to Missouri, this summer. I wanted a totally licensed and dependable carrier, which Star Van Lines definitely is. Got a free quote online, and Manager Michael called back immediately to lock in the details. The final cost for the long-distance haul was $4,300-super transparent pricing, no hidden fees. The guys worked fast, and everything arrived safe. It's 4 stars because the truck showed up really late in the delivery window (like, almost midnight), which was making me anxious, but the text updates were constant and knowing they are fully licensed and covered gave me peace of mind. Good company with fair prices.

I contacted multiple companies for my move from CA to IN. Ultimately I went with Star Van Lines as they provided the lowest cost option. This was a mistake. The main things that have gone wrong are as follows:

- On pick up the moving company refused to honor the estimate of approx. 3.3k and refused to pick up unless I agreed to 5.1k for the move (with no change in items). Star Van Lines was unreachable on the day of pick up (or simply decided to ignore my calls) and I was simply sent a text telling me "You have to work it out with them".

- It has been 20 days since pick up and I am still waiting on delivery. The company does not return my calls and the only way I can get anyone to pick up is by using a different number than my own (they have blocked my number).

At this point I am not even sure if my items will be delivered at all. This company is completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and may simply be running a scam to get your money and never deliver your items. I can't tell at this point since no one from their company will talk to me and update me so it sure seems like the company is just a front for a scam.

I moved not long ago n got this company helpin mostly with big furnitur that’s hard to take apart n put back. Tbh didn’t expect much, just wanted my stuff safe. But they did realy good 👍 Every piece they handle super careful, even wrote on boxs wats inside, didn’t just rush it. At the new place they put my stuff back same way it was b4. Saved me heaps of time n stress. For sure gonna call em again.

Need to improve communications to customer. Moving is stressful enough without knowing when they will pickup or deliver. Very little follow up back to customer once Justin has you initial credit card fee.

The only good thing I can say is when all else fails call customer service and ask for Alex. He was the most helpful and should be in charge of all. Communications to customers. Very helpful,when no one else seemed to care .

Didn’t expect too much, just wanted the move done, but it was better than I thought. Star Van Lines guys came even a bit early, helped me finish packing some stuff I forgot, and they stayed patient. One box was broken and they fixed it with tape, so nothing got lost. They didn’t rush, just did the work normal and respectful. Feels nice when people actually care about their job.

I wanna say thx for the good servise. Everythin was deliverd on time an just like we agree b4. No probz at all. Im happy to recomend Star Van Lines an wish them more succes in future.

these guys pulled up right on time, no waiting around. gave me the lowdown first, like step by step what’s gonna happen. wrapped all my stuff, boxed it up and scribbled what’s inside on each box. not a single thing broke, everything safe. when i moved in it was crazy easy to find my stuff cuz every box was labeled. super chill crew, made the move way less stress. thumbs up 👍

The movers arrived on time and worked quite quickly. They were not in a hurry, but carefully packed my things. After the move, the apartment was left clean, they did not leave any trash behind. Overall, everything was fine, no complaints. If necessary, I will contact them again.

Honestly, I was stressed moving from Boston to Cambridge, but Star Van Lines was great. They brought enough blankets, bubble wrap, and tools. One box toppled in the truck, but nothing broke. I appreciated their honesty and effort. Made moving way less painful than expected.

My husband and I were moving. We loaded up on time, the guys from Star Van Lines did everything without any problems, quickly and carefully. Nothing was damaged, everything was fine. They wrote notes on the boxes, noted that they needed to be packed more carefully. Very pleased with the service.
