My experience with this company raises serious concerns regarding billing practices, service reliability, and overall professionalism.
On multiple occasions, I was charged through an auto-pay system that I did not knowingly authorize after making a manual payment. This resulted in duplicate charges. When I requested a refund for the overpayment, the company was unwilling to resolve the issue directly, forcing me to dispute the transaction through my bank in order to recover my funds. In response, I was informed that disputing charges could result in termination of services, which I found to be an inappropriate and unprofessional policy.
Despite this, I continued using the service. However, I experienced repeated and unjustified service suspensions, even when payments had already been made and could be verified. These interruptions caused additional financial loss, as I was required to pay a technician multiple times to restore connectivity to my device.
The most recent incident is as follows:
- A full monthly payment was processed on March 17.
- On or about March 19, my service was suspended despite payment being completed.
- I contacted support and provided proof of payment, yet I was redirected between departments without resolution.
- Due to the lack of response, I initiated a dispute through PayPal.
- Later that same day, my service was restored, and I subsequently agreed to cancel the dispute once service resumed.
Shortly thereafter, my service was suspended again without valid justification.
When I requested a refund based on the repeated service interruptions and lack of consistent access, I received the following response:
"We will not send a refund and we are fighting the dispute.
You were actively using data days after you submitted the dispute. All of this information was submitted to PayPal.
Good luck and take care."
This response reflects a lack of professionalism and fails to address the underlying issue that I paid for a full billing period but did not receive uninterrupted service.
Between March 17 and March 26, my service was suspended multiple times, resulting in several days without access while still being charged in full. The company has also attributed payment issues to PayPal, despite evidence that payments were completed and disputes were resolved.
Based on this experience, there appear to be systemic issues including:
- Questionable billing and auto-pay practices
- Failure to accurately track and acknowledge payments
- Repeated service interruptions without valid cause
- Inadequate and dismissive customer support
I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.
Update:
Following a formal dispute, my bank has issued a full refund in my favor after reviewing the case.
My bank has confirmed that a billing error occurred and issued a full refund after investigation. This directly contradicts the claims made in the company’s response.
I stand by my original experience and do not agree with the claims made in the company’s response regarding “fraudulent activity.” The outcome of the investigation speaks for itself.
At no point was the situation handled to my satisfaction, which is why I pursued a formal dispute through the appropriate channels.
I will not be using this service again.

I have used Starvpn in the past for 1 year. Good speeds, several cities to choose from.
If you do a search it does not show a VPN.
Good It department, always answers to our questions and resolves any issues that may arise.
I recommend Starvpn, especially if you are a digital nomad
With many other VPN companies, the setup process is tedious and time-consuming. WIth StarVPN, it was easy and quick.
Happy with my decision!
This VPN is very easy to set up especially on a GL iNet router. Super simple and the price for a residential IP is very affordable

My experience with StarVPN has been extremely positive, they offer thousands of static residential IPs supporting numerous regions in the USA and other T1 countries - Canada, UK, Germany and Italy. Fast and stable connections, exactly what I needed for work and gaming. Highly recommend!
Bought a BusinessVPN on 30th of August. I requested a refund after a few days as it did not fit my needs, they refused. Okay that's fine. I ended up using the VPN, but cancelled the renew process. Instead of letting me use it up till the date I paid for which is one calendar month they cancelled the whole service immediately. So basically, I paid $20 for VPN but did not get the full service.
I strongly recommmend not working with this provider. Their customer support is also rude.

These guys are just scam buying fake referrals...they entice you with a Free Vpn+ subscription that offers similar like features to their datacenter plan if you give them a positive review here. However, the said plan is flawed with hidden restrictions such as you can only update your IP like twice, so once you change the location that's it, you're stuck to that IP for who knows what period. I have attached their said Fres Vpn+ requirements and features. You don't get the features as listed thereunder but a much lesser plan that has limited features, on further inquiry they tell you if you want more IP updates, you purchase them. I have no problem investing into a VPN, but why entice people to review your app with features you aren't going to offer them? Even free VPNs allow you to change locations limited to what they have. Mind you in the Datacenter plan they say is offered upon the review, has 500 IP updates. Further, any customer service request is only limited to paid users. Such a waste of time tbh. This is the correct review. They can dispute with facts. Also the reviews are majorly fake from the Free vpn+ they offer as you can see most 5* reviews are not detailed at all.
Edit; Unless you have changed the features offered on your Free Vpn+, I believe the wording is "Full feature set from the datacenter plan available." 'sic'. I fail to understand what full feature set means to you? I left a review as part of the instructions to try out the vpn+ package simply because of the full feature set, otherwise if the true information was listed, I could've made an informed decision, I mean from the list of features offered, I have to ask why I am not getting what is listed, you don't advertise a whole bull and give the tail and expect no complaint. Be upfront and state that the package has 10 IP updates, and its not a full feature set as there are many features omitted from the paid datacenter plan. Transparency avoid such squabbles which are pegged on incorrect information, be honest, that's all.
Also you proceeded to ban my account for no reason, just for reaching out to complain of the same.
