Failed to provide paperwork. Almost impossible to contact. Constantly moved goalposts. Appalling app and claims process.

If you are a company thinking of using them to streamline employee expenses, think again. You will have to hold their hand through the whole process and deal with so many complaints.

Avoid, avoid, avoid.

My experience revealed serious organizational and safety violations.

1)The team was supposed to come with a furniture lift, given the size and weight of the items to be moved. Instead, they arrived with 4 people who travelled all the night, they asked the building caretaker to help find two additional workers — who were almost certainly paid off the books — and the caretaker himself even helped carry the furniture because the movers were unable to do so.

2) They arrived without the required moving authorization, and finally kept their van parked on the pedestrian crossing for the entire day;

3) They damnaged part of furniture;

4) They didn’t complete the job not reassembling part of the formiture;

5) They proposed a refund for only a small part of the damages caused.

They are kind of criminals.

We moved back to London from Portugal in August. A family with young children and fraught with anxiety about navigating the minefield of rental properties in London. We decided our best course of action was to enlist the help of a relocation agent.

Having had an awful experience with a different relocation company, the bar was set low and we had little to no expectations Sterling Lexicon would be different.

I spoke with the relocation manager and expressed our hopes and fears. She listened intently and promised they could deliver. And deliver they did!

We were assigned to Maria Gilbert who is possibly the best relo agent we’ve ever worked with. She understood the brief from start to finish and fought tooth and nail to find us a property within 6 weeks, negotiate it to the price we set and fought for us through the multiple snagging issues after we moved into the property.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. We found Sterling Lexicon has a fresh and different approach to their clients needs and we will always be grateful for choosing them to help us seamlessly integrate back into the London property market.

la seule mission de cette société etait de conserver mes meubles lors de mon sejour a l'etranger.
A mon retour, pour les recuperer je me vois facturé de 4500euros pour simplement deplacer ces 20m3 de 500km.
A l'arrivee, une partie des meubles n'etaient pas les miens, et il en manquait evidemment une autre partie.
Depuis aucun suivi, aucune excuse, et evidemment aucune indemnisation.

Communications erratiques, contacts qui changent en permanence, délais de réponse et d'action de minimum 7 jours ouvrés, nécessité de relance incessantes de la part du client, avec en prime des informations parcellaires voire même fausses à dessein quand Sterling est dans l'incapacité de contrôler ses propres fournisseurs. Mention spéciale a l'organisation d'un pick-up pour reparation de dommage causés par Sterling... que Sterling a oublié d'organiser le jour prévu. Impeccable!

Rendons nous à l'évidence: c'est mieux de faire seul, sauf à vouloir ajouter du stress et du travail supplémentaires à une étape de vie qui n'en a certainement pas besoin. En ce sens, chapeau pour ce tour de force (d'incompétence), et bon courage à ceux qui voudraient tenter cette experience artistique de haut vol!
