Rude and unprofessional. Requested a quote for a 10 yard skip and received the same. I phoned whilst waiting for my ‘instant’ quote and was told they had no 10 yard skips available, so I obviously queried the quote and was told the quote was for an 8 yard skip. I pointed out that the quote stated 10 yards and I’ve had the most rude and unprofessional response I’ve ever seen, telling me ‘stop demanding a 10 yard skip’. Copy of his response below. I wasn’t demanding a skip, I was pointing out the error in the quote. Not that they know this, because they didn’t ask, but I’m flexible on delivery date so needed to ensure I was being given the correct price, hence why I was querying it because although he was saying the quote was for an 8 yard skip, that wasn’t what the quote said.

In future, I suggest you own your mistakes and correct them, instead of repeating them and then insulting potential customers. Glad I saw this side to them before hiring a skip.

I recently hired a 8 yard skip.from MD SKIP HIRE. The service received was second to none. The office staff were very helpful and professional. The service was prompt and living in a difficult place to find with a tight turning space. The driver was extremely skilled, polite and courteous. When I required a replacement skip. The replacement service uplifting the full and leaving a replacement empty skip was just as professionally received and place as the previous one.
