I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother. She's far too nice to leave a scathing review, I however, am not. My mum bought an iGlide Autofold scooter from this 'company'. £1500 for a piece of junk, my mum doesn't have money like that very often but she convinced herself it was an investment. It was dodgy from the first use but she reassured us it was just her getting used to driving it and it would be fine after a bit. It was far from fine, this thing had a mind of its own.
We took it on holiday and were forced to hire one while we were out there because of its erratic behaviour! It sped up on its own accord. Lunged forward at the most inconvenient times, especially entering a lift or waiting to cross a busy road.
It will tell you in the listing for this piece of crap that you will get twelve miles out of a charge of the battery. My mum was lucky to get four miles. It's a good thing she got an extra battery or she wouldn't be going anywhere with it. My mum's not anywhere
near the weight limit so that can't be what is causing the problems.
The customer service try hard to help but did nothing of any significance. This thing has been returned twice for repairs and has been returned with the same fault because the engineer says there's no fault They will charge you to collect and return any faulty items if they don't see the fault. After it was returned last time my mum has asked me to store it in my garage, I know from experience what that means, it means she's not going to use it. £1500 down the drain.
Out of all the infuriating things that have happened with the iGlide, the one thing that affects me the most is the effect that all this has had on my mum. It took a good few years to get her to leave the house after some severe illness. It was hard work building up her confidence but she made it. The scooter was meant to be the next step to her independence and personal freedom. Instead it did the opposite and we're back to where we started.
Looking through the reviews I see a lot of unhappy customers complaining about the iGlide. Doesn't that tell this company that there is something fundamentally wrong with this model?! It's not just one person, it's many. And yet you continue to sell this crap to unsuspecting, disabled and elderly people whose lives are difficult enough without being hauled through this stress.
It doesn't matter how sorry the customer service are that my mum feels that way or how it's affected her. The point is that it has affected her, you could have done something to help but you didn't
Shame on you all.

Staff who called me were extremely helpful on the phone. They took care to make sure the scooter I chose would be suitable for my needs and gave answers to all my questions. The option to try at home for a couple of weeks is very welcome as I live far from their offices. Many good reasons for choosing a company based in this country, UK.

John in the shop was kind, and knowledgeable, and it was obvious he thoroughly understood my needs. I felt he really did all he could to ensure i has the chsir that was right for me. Lawrence, who delivered my new chair clearly and carefully explained how to use it and when he left i felt confident in it's use. I thoroughly recommend the Lichfield store and and Easy Living.

Amazing service as always I rang this morning to book for new batteries on my mums mobility scooter had booked for next week then had a phone call back within half an hour saying they had batteries on the van. luke the area manager helped so much I would also like to say jayne was extremely helpful when I had booked it in for the batteries and charger to be tested.
