Strix Options Funding 

Easy to read and understand where you are and what you’re looking at. Would be nice if they had a risk management section. That is why it is 3/5 but still a decent site from what I have gathered and chance to trade options properly

Easy to use platform with clear rules. I did have an issue with one of my accounts and they were responsive and willing to help.

The only reliable and real options trading prop firm around. That will let you trade all strategies. Game changer.

Great way to get off the ground and start trading with real capital, it takes money to make money and if you dont have money Strix helps you out.

Massive issues with ticksage. Since moving to Rix has been better but still get pretty bad fills compared to Webull. Aiden has been good to deal with only reason why they get one star but I would

“Astrid”/RixTrade … Strix platform for options, is scoring drawdown off theoretical mark value and widened spreads, yet refusing to execute resting limit orders sitting ABOVE the exact prices they’re valuing the positions at. That disconnect is the issue. If the platform says my position is worth X for drawdown purposes, but simultaneously won’t allow an actual fill anywhere near that valuation, then the account is being judged on synthetic losses rather than executable market reality.

Example:
I had PATH 5/22 $9.50/$11 long strangles open. The system was marking the position aggressively against me for drawdown, while:

* buy orders above current quoted values remained pending
* fills were inconsistent
* the spread/mark appeared disconnected from executable liquidity

If the platform claims a contract is worth $0.30-$0.35 for drawdown calculations, but orders at or above those prices are not getting filled, then that valuation is not reflecting true market execution. That matters because in prop trading, liquidation thresholds are everything.

A realistic risk model should be based on:

* executable fills
* realistic liquidity
* actual marketable pricing

—not inflated theoretical marks that traders cannot transact at.

What makes this even more frustrating is these were LONG STRANGLES. Defined-risk positions. Not naked exposure. The strategy itself was structured specifically to manage directional uncertainty and volatility expansion. Several legs were near or in-the-money while the account was still being penalized as if the positions were worthless.

The biggest concern here isn’t even the loss itself. It’s the precedent:
If accounts can fail from non-executable mark pricing while real orders remain unfilled, traders are effectively being liquidated by simulated valuation mechanics rather than tradable market conditions.

That’s not how real execution works.

Also worth noting: I previously contacted Strix regarding a separate account breach that I believe was unfairly triggered. I provided proof showing the underlying contracts would have recovered and passed the evaluation within the same week. I’m not asking for favors or special treatment — all I’ve wanted from the beginning is transparency and a fair opportunity.

The staff are extremely nice and quick to help with any issues or concerns. 10/10 service

I have been using Strix for a month now and the platform is working great. They are very quick to respond to inquiries and fix any bugs. I am planning to buy 2 new accounts and copy trade in the next week or so. No other service like it out there.
