Purchased some golf boots in December 2024, and wore them a few times in early 2025.
Have been wearing them over winter 2025/26, and the stitching on the seams has completely split.

While they are cheap, they aren't worth the money.....

Stromberg Ailsa shoe , comfortable but in no way waterproof, ,if American golf had not such process of testing shoes and waiting days for an answer I would have returned these , bought waterproof socks so my feet freeze in the cold now and the shoes take days to dry out

I bought Stromberg boots in November 24. The stitching came apart and boots fell apart after 1year. Very poor build quality. Avoid buying from American Golf who said 1 month out of warranty. Can’t help.

Bought a pair of Stormberg golf shoes. Feet soaking after first round wearing them and it wasn't even raining, just heavy dew.
Took back to American golf where they allegedly tested them and told me they were not leaking.
Tried again this morning. Feet soaking again.
DO NOT BUY AS NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL.

Bought a pair of supposedly Waterproof Stromberg Tour Classic S21 golf shoes. After playing three rounds of golf in light dew conditions my socks were wet through after completing 18 holes! Don't buy - rubbish!

Stromberg golf ailsa S23 waterproof golf shoes. Purchased a pair just over a year ago (52 weeks and 4 days!) Initially thought they were very comfortable bit as discovered recently they are not waterproof. Played an early morning round with dew on the grass and my feet were soaked by the 6th hole. Clearly not waterproof. Will be taking them back to American Golf to see of there's anything they can do. I have another pair of spiked Stromberg golf shoes which are meant to be waterproof but have lost confidence in this brand. Would not recommend.

Shoes developed 2 holes in the upper after, effectively, 4 months of use, although just out of warranty. Of course, American Golf didn’t want to know.

Bought a pair of winter shoes last Autumn, look after them well, i.e. clean after each use. Dug them out for a game the other week and they are cracked in various areas, really disappointing. I submitted an online contact us form, no reply 1.5 week later, submitted a second one yesterday, still no reply. Avoid.

Stromberg didn’t reply. Customer service poor. Non existent actually

I bought Stromberg winter golf boots. Looked strong and well built. Bought in November 23 sole started coming off in April after about 10 games. Cleaned and put dubin on after every game. Don’t buy. American Golf were great no problems getting a refund. Will buy FootJoy never had a problem with these shoes

Purchased some shoes in August wore through the winter always cleaned and dried after use, they have cracked at every flex point and are no longer waterproof, really disappointed as the Stomberg apparel is really decent.

My 18 month old (summer use only) Stromberg Tempo shoes are rubbish and American Golf don't want to know. They are a very weak design which are readily prone to cracking on the flex lines in less than two summer's use. On a hot day your feet sweat like mad. Do not buy, they look great but are rubbish

Bought Stromberg golf shoes through American golf. They have lasted less than 6 months and are falling apart. Bought my son some more expensive Nikes a year ago and they are still in great condition.
Don’t waste your money on these cheaper shoes. I wish I’d spent another 30 quid and bought Nike. The shoes looked great and were comfy but started to come apart on the top after about 3 months.

Bought some stromberg weather Tech Trousers from American Golf not cheap at circa £60. They are utter rubbish for the money, your legs sweat after two holes and they are NOT waterproof as suggested. Utter rubbish, wish I had taken them back but wore them twice for the benefit if the doubt. Will never buy anything from Stromberg or American Golf again as I was totallymisled

Thought I'd risk buying a Stromberg polo shirt based on the price. Well you certainly get what you pay for. After just one wash the collar of the polo shirt looked liked somebody had used a wire brush on it. Absolute garbage and thrown straight in the bin. I'll stick to paying the price for quality. AVOID!!!

I bought a one size weave golf belt from AG and because it has no moveable loop I'm left with about 7 inches of overlap that just waves about. I tried putting the overlap through a loop on my trousers but the fit was so tight it took me 10 minutes to get it back out again when I was trying to undo the belt. Won't be buying another one.

I bought 2 pairs of the waterproof trousers. They were excellent until they came apart at the seams. There is hardly enough material to sew them back together. Such a shame Stromberg you almost had a great product

Bought some golf shoes via American golf. Extremely comfy lasted around 3-4 months, used around 7-10 times and started to split. Contacted them via email and also there website and Facebook. Never got a reply and can’t get through to them in any way. Such a shame as not only is it £80 down the drain but they were really comfy. Wouldn’t use Stromberg again.

I bought these from American Golf early November 2021.
Whilst the quality is excellent & waterproofness is good - the water just runs off them, I can't really say they are winter trousers. They are not particularly warm & in cold weather I think you need thermals underneath.

They are very light & with the "long johns" on are very comfortable, but I would have thought that winter trousers may negate the need for long johns.

Easy to clean & no ironing!
