Great product let down by lousy screws supplied. They broke when fitting window latch so now only one side of window can open fully as I can't risk drilling screws out for fear of cracking frame.

Much better quality and finish when compared to the cheaper pressed steel products available elsewhere. Really good value for money. Only gripe is that bigger fixing screws than the ones supplied would be better.

Firstly I want to say the Georgian Door Knobs we bought look fabulous.
However... our carpenter fitted them to all of our new doors and within a few days the grub screws would not stay in place and the knobs just kept turning. We bought them complete with the latch and maybe that's the problem. We regularly adjust the position of the grub screws to try and make them stay in place, as we were locked in our sitting room with no means of getting out, which resulted in us climbing out of our window, finding a nail in the garden, climbing back through the window and trying to wedge it in the grub screw hole to make some traction to open the door. It's safe to say that they weren't a great buy as we now have to have a tiny allen key in every room in case the knob fails and we can't get out.
The upside is they look great, the downside is, you can't close the door and hope to get out!

Thanks for the reply and advice, ironically it was our carpenter that recommended your knobs as he uses them all the time. However, we shall remove them all and start again.

Although Suffolk Latch Company advertise themselves as being primarily online, we needed lots of knobs so decided to visit in person. Paul greeted us with a welcoming smile and, along with Kate and Carl, couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, they realised the importance of making the right choices and were able to provide advice. They have plenty of products on display so, whilst not a shop or showroom, it's the next best thing. Their products are really high quality and sensibly priced. A real pleasure to deal with and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I ordered 4 pocket door handles based on the information and reviews on the website. They arrived quickly and are of a very high standard.

I’ve been looking for good quality door handles for quite a while. So, good to find them at last. I can heartily recommend the quality and design.

Neither a mortice latch nor a rim latch would fit at a sensible height on 2 of my doors. Pewter fine handle Suffolk latches are the solution. They look great and I love the mechanism’s simplicity. I couldn’t resist a shepherd’s crook bolt, too.
