Suitcase Travel Reviews

We wanted to go on a last minute holiday to Norway. I usually book independently but was running out of time. I read an article from Suitcase Travel and gave them a call. 2 days later everything was booked and 5 days later we were travelling! The itinerary was seamless with even airport/hotel transfers included making the holiday relaxing and effortless. The trip included a Havila K to B cruise and the Berganbanen train from Bergen to Oslo. All the suitcase travel team were knowledgeable and helpful and we would highly recommend.

Everything went according to plan. I couldn't think of anything missed by the team at Suitcase. they will be my 1st port of call when I next travel. Well done the team.

Mike arranged and advised us on our trip. Booked flights, hotel, buses and then our round trip with Havila. The whole trip went very smoothly. Havila was amazing, great food and very comfortable boat with great staff. Norway was so impressive and the weather was great meaning the aurora was seen every night but 2. Exceptional holiday

Decided to use Suitcase Travel to book our bucket list trip to Norway after reading their comparison of Hurtigruten and Havila. Dylan answered all of my queries and put together a great competively priced holiday package combining Norway in a Nutshell with a Bergen to Kirkenes round trip Havila Coastal Cruise. Excellent booking experience with lots of helpful advice to make sure we get the most out of our trip with the added reassurance of ATOL protection.

I was planning a Norwegian Coastal Voyage and came across a blog from Suitcase Travel which recommended Havila. I contacted Suitcase and set out what I wanted. They booked the whole journey including flights to Bergen and the whole trip went like clockwork. The trip was magical and everything I asked for. I would certainly use them again

The company was knowledgeable about the product. Ie Northern Lights and the ships on the route.
They were efficient and very helpful on the phone.
Overall a very good experience.

Penny and other members of the team are great. They took the stress out of booking our holiday. I would definitely recommend them.

Wow what can I say, Suitcase Travel booked a package holiday for us to Norway with Havila Voyages to see the Northern Lights and they didn’t disappoint. From start to finish the service they provided was seamless. Everything was booked and documented, communication was excellent and any questions answered immediately. They provided information on things that we hadn’t even thought of asking about and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend Suitcase Travel as your go to company.

We had a rough plan to take the post boat up the Norwegian coast, and normally book things independently. However, we saw a review of Suitcase Travel and one of their blogs which showed that they knew what they were doing. On contacting them we explored different options and refined our ideas, so that the trip on Havila which we ended up booking exceeded our expectations. Communications were all good and we would certainly recommend them to anybody considering a Norway trip - they really know their stuff!

They made the trip so easy and communication with them was excellent. No waiting on the phone for ages and the queries we had were answered quickly. Mike's advice about the cabin location on the Norwegian cruise ship Havila Pollux was absolutely brilliant and it is that sort of detailed knowledge that can make all the difference to the quality of the experience. Would high recommend.

I came across Suitcase Travel when searching for information about Norwegian fjord cruises. I dealt mainly with Dylan who answered my queries and helped me to make a decision on what would be the best option to go with. It made my first solo trip abroad so much easier and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them in future.

The Norwegian coast from Bergen to the Arctic is the only cruise we would ever consider and Suitcase Travel arranged everything, including the flights, airport transfer and hotel at each end, as well as guiding us through what we needed to sort out for the cruise itself. The service and the details sent through ahead of the trip were excellent.

Penny was our initial contact at Suitcase Travel and couldn't have been more helpful in assisting my friend and I to book a Norwegian Round Trip cruise from Bergen with Havila Cruises, each as 'solo travellers'. She booked comfortable hotel rooms for the days before and after the cruise which definitely reduced our stress levels when flights were disrupted and allowed us to board the ship on time. Bus tickets from airport to hotel were included which was truly valuable.
Penny found us Deluxe Seaview double cabins on Havila Pollux in January at discount, and a choice of flights from 2 of our local airports. Support was available all the way when our flights to and from Amsterdam were cancelled shortly before travelling by the airline. She found us alternative flights and kept us well-informed. A full itinerary was provided so we knew what was included and paid for.
Mike and Lyn also provided great assistance during the booking process, and during and after the trip. Excellent response to rearranging cancelled flights and extra mobility support for me.
The holiday was superb and I'll have happy memories of the trip always.
Thank you Suitcase Travel. A really excellent and friendly travel service. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend you!

Penny was great as our contact at Suitcase Travel from beginning to end. She helped us decide on the cruise, company, cabin and excursions. She tirelessly checked for when bookings opened for most popular trips. She gave helpful tips and answered my many questions. It was a wonderful experience.

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. They offered excellent advice on the holiday eg which cabin to choose. Great attention to detail , friendly and excellent value. Would definitely recommend.

We used Suitcase Travel to book a Norwegian BKB cruise. They were very good at offering advice, were quick to respond to emails and were very patient while I was trying to sort dates for kennelling our dog whilst away. They also booked us into excellent hotels in Bergen for either side of our cruise and booked hotel to airport transfer bus tickets.
Fantastic service, I would gladly book with Suitcase Travel another time as everything went smoothly and we were sent a comprehensive itinerary.

Like other reviewers we used Suitcase Travel to book a Norwegian coastal cruise . Their advice was invaluable and we chose to go with Havila . Mike even advised us on which would be the best cabin to meet our needs . The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the cruise .

We booked a trip to Norway with Suitcase Travel (our first booking with them) as we valued their knowledge on this type of trip, having never sailed before, nor were we sure if November was a good time to visit the Norwegian coastline. We travelled on Havila and everything Suitcase Travel organised was spot on. We had a fab time and would definitely use this agent again and Havila!

Fantastic help from Mike and Lyn in planning our Coastal trip with Hurtigruten. Any queries we had they were able to advise and the whole experience enabled us to have a relaxing and trouble free trip we would absolutely recommend Suitcase Travel to anyone planning a holiday thanks guys for a wonderful trip.

I found Suitcase Travel through an internet search when I was aiming to compare Havila and Hurtigruten ships and the Coastal Express in Norway. Their comparison was extremely informative and having read some customer reviews I decided to give them a call.
I usually book all my holidays myself but it can be very time consuming so I decided to try Suitcase Travel and I was not disappointed!
Within 24 hours my entire holiday was booked and paid for at the same price as it would have been for me to book it. It included flights, transfers, hotels and the coastal express. It was also ATOL protected.
I was delighted by the choice of hotel which was ideally situated in Bergen. I’ve just had a wonderful holiday and I’m very grateful to Suitcase Travel for their help.
