SurgeU Reviews

The speakers were great overall at The Surge. I would have loved to see breakout sessions for business tracks and something for nonprofits in the future. I'm excited to see how things develop and grow. The intercessor prayer was great.

Every time I attend a SurgeU event, I walk away feeling more confident in my investing knowledge but, most importantly, I always feel closer to God. Thank you for another amazing experience!

It was so great to be back in the SURGE you community. It helps to reignite, inspire and re-energize. Our speakers were all fantastic, and we had so much knowledge. It was truly vital.
I love the values of this company and the vision that Joe has. I am grateful for all the planning and work that went into making it so great.

The experience was exceptional. I was honored to be apart of the first year, The venue was great, the timing was great, but the true magic were the people. Surge Culture is fresh and alive and Kingdom focused. I walked away with greater confidence in my journey as a student and with many new found friends. Grateful to be apart of Surge U. Thank you Joe for listening to the Lord and not giving up.

SurgeU is a wonderful organization. I was skeptical when I first heard about it as I have had some bad experiences with Christian organizations before. However, SurgeU really practices what they preach. This is not click bait, this is a faith based education system designed to support you and to help you learn to support yourself, your family and most importantly, God's kingdom.

Fantastic weekend! The Spirit was moving! So many God moments and stories! Encouraging and equipping!

Great information for building our business and for mentoring others who are building their businesses.

This company is invested in equipping students to succeed in business, real estate, and trade. I appreciate the knowledgeable mentors and instructors, and the mission mindedness of all the staff. These programs have been a great investment for me professionally!

It was great to meet and talk face to face with the Staff that instruct the courses, that I have been taken. They all took the time to answer my questions to help with my progress.
The speakers were inspirational, their stories and messages have inspired me to keep moving forward and to follow the guidance I have received and to stick to my plan to reach the goals I have set for myself.

SurgeU is the real deal! When we went to our first impact class, we were skeptical but after meeting the instructors, coaches and leadership and being on their online live events and going to live events…. They are truly a Kingdom building, Jesus Loving and Gospel focused organization! They pour into their students and community as Christ would do! We are so excited to be part of the Surge family!!

This experience has been exceptional. Although we have not yet undertaken a house flip, we have engaged in syndication and private money lending. Additionally, we have participated in trade. Managing both activities while working with children has been challenging, but we are pleased with our involvement. We look forward to generating income and acceleration programs. The people involved here are truly remarkable.

Oh my God 1,000 Stars!!
Incredible Event! Since I joined in January of 2025, they are always exactly what I Need for Kingdom-Minded Growth

I attended The Surge Tampa 2026 at the Tampa Convention Center and it was outstanding. SurgeU delivered a powerful, 3-day experience focused on faith, investing, business scaling, and leadership.

What made it great:
- World-class speakers who shared practical, biblical wisdom you can actually apply
- Excellent mix of inspiring worship, high-energy keynotes, and hands-on strategy sessions
- Strong networking with like-minded Christian entrepreneurs and investors
- Beautiful venue and smooth organization

SurgeU is doing an excellent job creating high-value events that combine spiritual encouragement with real business tools. I left with clear next steps, renewed purpose, and valuable connections. The investment was absolutely worth it. I’d attend again and highly recommend it to any business owner, investor, or leader who wants to build wealth God’s way.

Thank you, SurgeU team!

I very enjoyed Surge, not only amazing on the education to learn how to trade properly, but didn’t know that the investment I made that contributed to kingdom impact. I am so grateful my business partner Phillip invited me to this wonderful community.

I have been a student for over 4 months. I have engaged in many learning opportunities with experienced traders. I believe in the mission of this organization, and I believe they are genuine in their desire to help equip people. I will get from this program what I put into it. I look forward to reporting wonderful results a year from now.

This was an amazing weekend! So many very knowledgable speakers about real estate and trading and they are all centered around God. This was our first Life Surge event. We will do plenty more!

SurgeU has been an awesome experience. There’s so much teaching, resources and a community that walks along side of you. It’s more than I expected!

SurgeU is top notch! Great systems and great people! The staff are all approachable and have a wealth of knowledge.

Surge U has honestly been a really positive experience for me . After I signed up, I had a lot of people question my decision, but I can truly say I don’t regret it at all.
The more events I attend, the more I realize everyone joins for different reasons. Some people come for the community, some for the education, and some for the inspiration. But at the end of the day, we’re all there to grow and better ourselves.
Of course, you still have to put in the work—nothing happens without that. But Surge U is there to support you, push you, and keep you motivated, especially if you are willing to put in the work.

The Tampa Surge event could have been better. I feel like it was a bit overhyped. We missed the entire afternoon on Thursday because the app wasn’t clear and there was no clear announcement. It showed that we had free time until 5 PM, so we ended up missing Craig Groeschel and David Green and only came back for about an hour of class, which didn’t make much sense. Looking back, we probably should have double-checked, but clearer communication would have helped.

Overall, the organization could have been better, and the event space could have felt more inviting.

My experience has been great for one reason. God and God alone. I experienced so many miracles the week of Surge than I have a new confidence when I say the word. None of them were miracles that elevated Surge. Every single one of them elevated God. Surge isn’t about getting my bank account fuller. It’s about getting the kingdom of heaven fuller.

The Surge team… they talked more about God than the program. When they talked about the program it wasn’t about what the program can do for me. It was about what I can do for the kingdom because of the program.

Surge has one vision and one vision alone. Impact the kingdom. That’s it. Having money isn’t what makes a person greedy. Keeping it for themselves is what makes them greedy. Is that a temptation when you have money? Sure. But part of the Surge strategy is how to keep your focus where it should be. When God blesses us finances it isn’t because we deserved it for something we DID. He blesses us with finances because of what we can DO with it.

One improvement I would make is allowing more time for the breakouts. Students can get fired up for impacting the kingdom, but we need tools to keep that fire burning. Worship and speakers are the match that lights the fire. It’s that spark. Learning is the wood that keeps the fire going. When one fire has all the wood available to keep it burning, then you can use the next load of wood to start a new fire. The more fires that are sustainable, the bigger the impact. How fast we split the wood is how soon the impact will hit.
