I have been an avid listener of music but have never dipped my toe into learning. One of my friends recommended Suroshree's course on Udemy. Intrigued by the idea of finally understanding the intricacies of music, I decided to give it a shot. I found myself excited about the prospect of learning music. Later, she was kind enough to agree to teach me, and it has been a fun journey for the past year and a half. She is a great teacher, and I highly recommend her.

Suroshriji is a gifted singer. She sings and teaches from her heart. She is very flexible in scheduling her classes. Her understanding about ragas, talas and swaras is extraordinary. I feel blessed that I found her. Her unique style of teaching connects at the soul level. She always motivates me to practice, practice and practice. She has a lot of patience. My singing skills have improved a lot since I started my lessons with her.

I have been a student of Suroshri for over a year now , though not very regular . The experience of learning music , the naunces , technicalities , Swaras etc has been very enriching . I think I have taken a few steps forward in my endeavour to learn singing . The best part of the teaching is the balance between classical and popular music / songs . Using the learning to sing correctly some of the popular songs . Looking forward to continuing with my classes and keep learning .

I've been learning from Suroshriji for over a year and it's been an excellent experience throughout. With her astute guidance, i feel like I'm putting a solid foundation in Hindustani music having improved my skills noticeably since I started. She's extremely observant and tailors the classes with details specific to the student's skills and needs. Also, she's very flexible and understanding of changing schedules for older students like me. Things take the time they take in music and if you persevere, I'm sure she will be an able guide for your musical journey.

Learning from Suroshri has been an enriching experience. She is an extremely patient teacher and knows how to get the best out of her students. She has a keen ear and makes you want to raise your own standards of listening and singing. Her methods of teaching are tailored to the needs of her student and she is able to make you appreciate the complexities of ragas and their inherent mood.

Suroshri’s goals for her students are set very high and the amazing thing is, she actually delivers! I have taken her private classes for around 7 months and my progress has been a steep slope upwards - all thanks to Suroshri. I have also taken her workshop, where one learns a specific Raaga in a group setting. Here the energy from the other students, was a positive boost to my learning and singing the different Raagas of Indian Clasical Music. Suroshri’s patience, knowledge, thoroughness and attention to detail is something that I value the most!

Learning Hindustani Classical Music requires patient and it is a Life Long Journey and learning with systematic step-by-step training from the Teacher. The great feelings about the On-line Workshops cannot be described in words. Ms. Suroshri uses very thorough, detailed and systematic approach in teaching the Raaga, Bandish and Rhythm. The workshops are wonderful and ‘to the point’ in explaining details and then explaining how to practice in singing Swars and Bandish. The methods used bring out completely new understanding of how each Raaga is composed with progression.

I am very happy and excited in learning Raagas and also very happy with the great teaching methods of Ms. Suroshri. Looking forward to learning more Raagas of Hindustani Classical Music.
