I was treated badly and disrespectfully by Dr. Sonya. I had two failed filling of the same tooth, I asked her if the Xray didn't show anything. I am sure she didn't like my questioning. She said' I DON'T HAVE A BALL TO SEE THE PROBLEM. I assume she meant a Crystal Ball. She said the same sentence twice on two different occasions. A 'slap dash' job was done without any preperations. The nurse wasn't allowed even to hold the suction tube. it was just left in my mouth when I felt I was choking. I felt hurt and couldn't wait to leave the room. When the filling came off the second time, the broken tooth was rubbing the tongue and I had a badly inflamed tongue for over a week.I said I would go and see the GP and she said, 'Oh they wouldn't know anything about this',Later I wrote her a letter explaining her behaviour, ill treatment and how I felt. I said I might complain to the commissioner of Services.
She called me immediately, to replace the filling. Reluctantly I visited. Her treatment and behaviour was different, Proper preparations were done before the filling. I did mention to her how this treatment was so different to the previous one.
I have left that Practice since,because I could not face her again.
Cannot remember the exact dated of the appointments. it was about April/May 2025. She called during mid June. I had a knee operation on the 13th of June and went to see her with crutches. That's how I remember the approximate dates

I just want to say that today was the first time me and my children came to Sutton dental & medical clinic for hygienist appointments and what a warm welcome it was!! Debbie was absolutely amazing!! The way she was with both my children was brilliant!! Made them both feel comfortable, calm and so chilled! They laughed and felt at home, they were so anxious before going to their appointments but the staff was so lovely, informative with everything too. Very child friendly and great atmosphere, I would defo recommend to anyone! Best dental practice I've ever been to. If you have a child with issues with sensory, just generally anxious etc this is defo the place to go. You’ll feel so comfortable here with a warm welcome throughout your whole time there from start to finish. Very professional and know how to be on a level with you and your children for sure!! :) recommend 10000% :)

I had my first hygienist appointment with Debbie last week with GBT, I usually hate having my teeth cleaned but she explained everything, kept checking in and is super lovely!

Have been seeing Debbie the hygenist for many years now and she is brilliant- very professional and always kind.

I first went to Sutton Dental & Medical Clinic in October 2023 as a new patient i was looking for a nice place to have some treatment done to my teeth.
at first I was very happy with the suggestion that DR Sonya was suggesting as it all made sense . I asked if they happen to do implantation dental work as I was in desperate in replacing some missing teeth

so I had a plan made up by DR Sonya to start work on my teeth hygiene I was told it be a straight forward work to be done I had a anther DR come over from Greece to proceed the implantation of surgery it was then i got the clear understanding that DR SONYA did not have a professional understanding that went in to my surgery . I was told I had to wait three months after to complete my implantation in fact it took over a year and a half to finally finishes and I was told I had to go to anther surgery in London as Sonya was not able to complete any of this but very good at taking the Money

Debbie was amazing. She did excellent, she explained and demonstrated how to brush our teeth. We really appreciate everything.

From my very first appointment with Debbie, she put me at ease. I felt comfortable and reassured throughout. I’ve now had regular appointments here for years and have never felt better about my teeth. After every visit, my teeth are incredibly clean and I leave her chair with a spring in my step. The advice she’s given me is invaluable and something I’ll always carry with me.

Sonya Hamzehnejad-McCann is a great dentist and a charming person - my wife and I have been with her for years and continue to feel completely confident in her skill and diagnostic insight. Her staff are competent and welcoming. We cannot recommend the practice too highly.

From the welcome by Honora to the lovely session from Debbie the service was first class. Modern and immaculate premises and friendly and professional staff very impressed.

Had my first visit for some time to dentists and the team including Debbie and Dr Sonya made me feel at ease and gave me lots of advice to help me improve my dental hygiene routines. Saturday appointments available helped as well due to work commitments.

I have been visiting Dr Sonya and Debbie for years and would not consider going elsewhere. From the moment I arrived I received a warm welcome from the reception staff before being seen promptly by Debbie who put me at ease, (being a nervous patient). Hygiene work was carried out in a friendly and professional manner and maintenance advice was given.
My routine check-up was then carried out by Dr Sonya in a very caring and professional manner. Sonya always makes me feel valued as a both as patient and as a person.
The new premises are modern, clean and stylish.

From the moment I walked into the practice I was welcomed warmly, the staff were lovely and helpful. I would never see anyone else other than Debbie for my hygiene! She is friendly and explains everything thoroughly in every appointment, and always makes me comfortable.

I have been a patient of Sonya for years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Takes the best care of my teeth and always provides very good advice for cleaning and maintenance. Sonya also looks after my wife and children and several more of my close family.
I also visit Debbie for hygienist services, and once again takes great care. With the new techniques and state of the art equipment at the clinic, it is a quick and painless visit.
There is a real personable feel about the clinic as all the staff make an extra effort to make you feel valued.
The reception staff are always very friendly and make sure you are welcomed and taken care of whilst waiting for your appointments.
The clinic looks immaculate and always looks very clean.

The practise is very well organised, and the receptionists are always friendly and efficient. The hygienist, Debbie, I have been with for a few years. She is amazing and really takes her time with my teeth. Very informative and explains her methods.

This is an extremely professional practice from the moment you step through the door. The decor is clinical, modern but not screaming corporate! The greeting from reception is friendly and efficient, plus a hot coffee is always welcome. Debbie, the hygienist is really informative and has an excellent manner. She explains what she is doing and the methods she used were painless and really effective. I trusted her implicitly. Sonya, the lead dentist, explained the treatment plan in a very clear and logical manner. Once again, I felt I was in the hands of caring professionals. This is an excellent practice!
