Brilliant service with a smile from Kevin Norris today. I found exactly what I was looking for with a Kevin's help.

I always use Sydenhams in Wareham as the customer service is consistently excellent.
It’s worth the trip for garden compost as I don’t have to lift it into the car, the staff in the yard will do that for me.
When decorating, the option to have paint colours mixed in the branch is brilliant. It feels much more of a personal shopping experience compared to the usual DIY shops.

I've built a house, and was using Sydenhams for the majority of the building supplies I needed. My relationship started well with Sydenhams, that is until I did a comprehensive review of their prices. Be very careful when ordering from them; they will give a great price on one item (timber), and then fleece you on the other items. In my retrospective investigation I found that they were ±45% more expensive than standard retail prices at competitors. If I'd planned better I could have saved over £1000 on the small additional items that they charged me £2942 for.

I’ve been using Sydenham’s in Reading for many years now and they are excellent. The team is always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.

A special mention has to go to their delivery driver, Mick who has been delivering to us for years now. He always ensures the stone is delivered exactly where it was most convenient for us, where possible. So many delivery drivers can be rushed or downright rude, but Mick is the complete opposite - polite, patient, cheerful, and the absolute epitome of great customer service.

Reliable, professional, and a pleasure to deal with every time. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to Combe Down in Bath and required various information and products to start my renovation project. The employees at Hawthorne Grove branch were incredibly friendly and informative. Jerry took the time to advice me on various products and Elaine was so friendly and kind…I will look forward to visiting this store for my project needs.

I've been using Sydenhams in Warminster since I moved to the area almost ten years ago. They provide an excellent service. Their staff are knowledgable and friendly. They welcome non-trade customers like myself and are always happy to provide useful help and advice on DIY jobs, materials and tools. Highly recommended.

I've been using Sydenhams for many years now and have always found them to be very helpful with excellent service. The kitchen & Bathrooms showroom's staff are very knowledgable with many years of experience in product knowledge and design, very useful when showing clients what is available to them. I have also always found the Yard to be clean and tidy and very well stocked. The Staff are always very helpful and polite again with good product knowledge.

Always use sydenhams for our projects. Every member of staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and on top of their game. Drivers are always pleased to help you on site especially when space is restricted. A fully stocked yard and show room is one of their attributes

All the guys and girls at Sydenhams in Boscombe are knowledgeable, very helpful and a great friendly bunch! Every call I made to them (and believe me there were a lot!) was met with help and a smile. Their products are all top quality and I really couldn’t recommend them more.

Appalling service
I went to my local Sydenhams in WARMINSTER last week, Just a simple purchase of wood screws, the chap behind the counter was unhelpful just waving his arm to wards a display, although I was there sometime trying to sort out what I needed and was passed by a number of staff, no one offered assistance. I then picked my item up and went to the counter, the initial person was about to serve me, then saw a customer walk in the shop and turned his back on me and started serving him instead.
A lady from the office then came out to the counter to serve me.

Fantastic help and service today in Bournemouth sydenhams.Bill and the team really played a fantastic
part in the customer comes first experience.I simply ordered 4 concrete posts one of which was very heavy.When it arrived there was a crack on the post and even though we unloaded it ,it was no problem to load it back on the truck.It was then taken back to the shop and they sorted out a new post .This arrived again 2 hours later just for me to carry on with the job and not be delayed.Fantastic experience with Sydenhams.

Very straight forward ordering service Darren was very knowledgeable gave him the measurements and he worked out everything I needed. A few slabs were damaged on delivery thy were replaced and delivered on the same day. Excellent service all round. Doug
