It's one of the best cloud around. Infinite space is a bless. Too bad there isn't a proper searching app for the stored files!

I have used sync.com for cloud storage since 2016. The service is excellent. The desktop app works seamlessly, syncing files between three devices and the cloud storage server. Security is strong, with all files encrypted, and only you the user have access to them. The version history is very helpful on occasions when you need to roll back to an earlier version of a document, and sync.com have kindly honored the fee for the plan when I joined in 2016, even though costs have increased over time and that plan no longer exists. When I have had to contact support to report an issue or a bug (only 2 or 3 times over 10 years), their response has been prompt, professional, and highly effective in resolving the issue or releasing a new version of the app. Invariably, the app just works quietly in the background, syncing files to the cloud and giving peace of mind in case a digital disaster occurs. There are also many granular options in the online portal to share files with e.g. the ability to set a file share for X downloads or for the download access to expire on X date.

I would absolutely recommend sync.com for all the reasons above.

Very pleased with service, storage and app on to go. I’ll keep my data with sync and I hope titration my iCloud apple data to sync as well.

I have been using Sync for years for personal use. I use this between my Windows desktop and Linux laptop so when I am away on vacation I have access to all my files. When I installed Fedora on my laptop I found there wasn't a desktop app. Now i have to manually upload my files to sync.
I would give it 5 stars if it had a Linux desktop app.

I have been a customer of Sync for several years now. Sync's file system interface has consistently been elegantly simple in appearance and organization, and easy to navigate. The file management tools work efficiently and are well though out. I also appreciate the ability to securely share files, and I prefer the way sync handles privacy and security over any of the popular alternatives.

I like attention to privacy , sharing and recovery tools.

I have been using Sync since 2011 and have been very satisfied with the service. It is incredibly easy to use and it has provided me with peace of mind knowing my documents are safely backed up in the cloud.

Setting up shared folders is very simple and there have been no issues with providing files to other parties through a Sync shared folder.

Best of all, all my documents are stored here in Canada so I don't have to worry about the insanity occurring south of the border.

This site is very easy to navigate and I have never had any issues. Very happy with this business.

After my earlier positive comments on Sync.com I'm updating with this customer service experience. I encountered a problem on a Mac when I tried to copy to the Sync Vault a large vestigial "Deleted User" folder that contained many Mac OS "hidden files" that did not have copy permissions. My email to Sync Help about the stalled copy was answered promptly and, possibly with unannounced intervention from higher-level Sync staff, the problem was cleared. Based on that experience, I'd rank Sync support highly.

I'll have been using sync for 10 years this April.
I chose it over dropbox at that time because of its zero knowledge model whereby my data is encrypted such that no one but me can ever see it.
It has served me well, most importantly saving me from serious data loss on one occasion. I highly recommend it.

I have been using Sync since 2016. I have witnessed their growth and the development of their services. While initially I want to support them as a Canadian company, I have come to depend on them. Their platform has been seamless and if/when I have encountered an issue or had support questions, the team have been very fast and effective in resolving them. I would certainly recommend anyone looking for cloud storage to give sync a try.

I have been using Sync for years for backup and sharing client information. It has never let me down and have recommended it other businesses.
Its easy to use and set up.

I have been using Sync for many years both for personal use and for business use.

The ability to control access when sharing, with logs, has made it a Trusted Platform for sharing sensitive documents with clients.

We have moved the organizational memory of an NPO to Sync so that directors and officers will see what decisions were made, what permanent documents have been maintained and thus future directors can make decision with knowledge of previous decisions on similar topics. Currently, what happened before is lost in the mists of time.

Sync Changed My Life
I'm a writer, so I have a lot of files to save. I save them to multiple places, but Sync is where I can always find them with great ease.

No fuss, no worries about parties spying on your data or security issues that might arise with data being stored on servers in foreign countries. Sync has been my chosen secure cloud for over 7 years. I love how simple the interface is and how quietly and effectively it does its job.

Sync has been an excellent business solution that has the power of an enterprise document management systems at a cost-effective price point. It's intuitive, easy to use, and continues to get better--they actually listen to their customers! It was important to us that the servers and data are hosted in the country and that it complies with the relevant federal and provincial privacy legislations.

Ordered 12 months in December soon notice it was very hit and miss. Cannot get refund stopped getting back to me. All in all a very poor service which I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Sync.com support was very responsive and quickly helped resolve an issue with my password not working. The process was smooth, and I was able to regain access without hassle. Great customer service.

I went to cancel my annual subscription and didnt realize the deadline to cancel had a time zone (admittedly described in a footnote on the advisory email) that was three hours different from mine. I went prior to what I thought was the deadline to cancel and it had already renewed an hour earlier. They subsequently refused to refund me despite my request under two hours after the renew. I find this absurd
