Absolute garbage. Ive been through 2 chargers due to weak wire connections in the cable that break when they get used in any other position than a straight line. 2 chargers in 2 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous. Beyond frustrated. I would 100% avoid buying any bike made by Talaria because what good is a bike you cant ride because it cant charge because of poor design and even worse craftsmanship. Id look elsewhere if you plan on buying an e-moto. At 575 dollars each the chargers are not cheap in price but are 100% cheap trash piles that aren't worth the headache!!!!! What a joke!!!!

Dangerous assembly, warranty fraud, registration theft and lies to our attorney — avoid at all costs

I rarely write reviews but after what we have been through I feel a moral obligation to warn every potential Talaria buyer before they make the same mistake we did.
We purchased a Talaria electric motorcycle through Xpert Energy, an authorised Talaria dealer in Lisbon, Portugal. What followed was without question the worst consumer experience of our lives — and it is still not resolved.

It started with dangerous assembly failures
From day one the motor rattled. Electrical faults appeared immediately. Most alarmingly the handlebars had not been properly secured — a basic and potentially dangerous assembly failure that should never pass any quality check at any dealership anywhere in the world. We reported everything immediately. Both Xpert Energy and Talaria ignored us completely.

It was only after we formally threatened legal action that they acknowledged the problems and agreed to honour the warranty. A brand new motorcycle. A legal threat required to get basic warranty service. That tells you everything about how this company operates.

The warranty is essentially worthless
When issues arose Xpert Energy immediately attempted to attribute everything to water damage — despite the fact that we live on the coast and Talaria openly markets these bikes for outdoor use. This is not an isolated tactic. Read the other reviews here and you will see the same pattern repeated by other buyers. Water exposure is their go-to excuse to deny warranty claims regardless of the actual cause.

Every warranty repair came with attempts to charge us for parts and labour that were clearly covered under warranty. Nothing was honoured without a fight. Every interaction was an exercise in obstruction.

They charged us for registration and never completed it
After finally getting warranty issues resolved we discovered that Xpert Energy had charged us in full for the registration transfer but never actually completed it. We paid for a service that was never delivered. The motorcycle cannot be legally ridden. Despite paying over €6,000 for a brand new motorcycle we do not legally own it in any enforceable sense.

We contacted them by email. Ignored. By text. Ignored. When we called directly we were met with hostility and rudeness that genuinely shocked us.

They lied to our attorney
We engaged legal counsel to resolve the registration matter. When our attorney contacted Xpert Energy directly they were told that the registration transfer number had already been sent to us. That was completely false. Nothing was sent. Not then. Not ever.

They spoke to our attorney and lied.
That is not an administrative error. That is deliberate misrepresentation to legal counsel in the context of an active legal dispute. We are now filing a formal criminal complaint with the Ministério Público in Portugal citing fraud and false representation alongside complaints to IMT, ASAE, DECO, and the European Consumer Centre.

Talaria China — you are not off the hook
We made every effort to contact Talaria directly. We were ignored completely. The only time Talaria has ever responded to us was after we posted publicly on social media. That is not a coincidence — that is a policy of ignoring customers until public embarrassment forces a response.

Talaria exercises zero meaningful quality control over its dealer network. Xpert Energy operates as an authorised dealer knowing there is no manufacturer oversight and no accountability. Under EU Directive 2019/771 Talaria bears direct responsibility for the conduct of its authorised dealers and cannot simply look the other way while its dealers commit fraud.

For expats and foreign nationals
I want to address this specifically because I know many buyers in Europe are expats or foreign nationals like ourselves. Our experience was marked by what we can only describe as consistent bias. Communication became progressively more dismissive. Problems were deliberately dragged out. When we pushed back we were met with hostility. We believe our status as foreign nationals was used against us at every stage in the knowledge that navigating Portuguese legal and administrative systems is harder for non-locals.

We are not alone in this. We have connected with others who have had near identical experiences.

For coastal riders
If you live near the coast or ride in any wet conditions be aware that water exposure will be used as a blanket excuse to deny any warranty claim regardless of cause or circumstance. Talaria markets these bikes for outdoor use but their dealers will use the first drop of moisture to void your warranty.

I wrote to the official UK Talaria website, asked is this official reseller, they said its a scam.
