We had high hopes for the Tax Hardship center when we first spoke to someone. We had been working with the IRS for 6 years with a high monthly payment plan but with interest and all the penalties our balance just kept climbing and each year we just were adding more debt as we owe every year. We were very behind on owing taxes 50grand+! My husband works for the Govt and it was very important that we get this settled as it could of impacted his job. We paid them over 3grand and the only "resolution" they returned was the same payment plan we had with the IRS. There was no penalty waiving or attempts other then telling us this was our best offer due to our sitation. this goes against what we were "sold" on during initial conversations. We were also told by the company that we should cease communication with the IRS and send any documentation we received to Tax Hardship. We followed the instructions, even when we received a lien on my husbands check, we were told while in negotiations they couldnt take action, however, starting in July my husband had a lein put on his check and over 1000 a month was taken. I have escalated to everyone we had worked with the company since July 2nd requesting a refund or partial refund but have received Zero responses from anyone other than the Better Business Bureau who told me to file a formal complaint. The only email I received was requesting our last payment of 1300. That will be our next step if this is not resolved asap. The lack of empathy, communication and lack of responses after I paid over 3grand is unacceptable. I do not recommend this company to help you with your Tax resolutions.

Horrible company. Following other reviews I signed with them over 14 months ago. Was told they can help me. Then they collected only old information, and not was i shared with them as being the issue, now. Of coyrse no help. Then I raised the issue again, ooops, now they wanted the new info. In the meantime I received Levy warning from IRS.
NONE responsive, no sense of urgency. no one responds ever. Horrible, waste of time and money.

Originally they said they can help me, so I signed and paid my fee, now 16 moths later still o resolution but my IRS interest fees are huge.
I am looking for legal help with this situation, as this company does not responds to reviews, BBB letters, or direct correspondence.

Please Do Not use this company for tax relief. They have got $3,500. 495 initial fee then 500 a month. We were hit by Hurricane Helen in September asked for a 1.month reprieve so we could repair damages. Everything was good then advised we had to be sent to accounting dept. For a higher fee, we declined then we were ghosted!Save yourself the headache and money! They never even filled a Power of Attorney with the IRS on our behalf it's disgraceful how they do business, Thieves! Use a different company save yourself!

1.Tax hardship Center, has been wonderful in helping me with my IRS issues. And giving me so much relief knowing that I have professionals working on my case.

I am deeply thankful to the resolution team for assisting me in establishing an installment plan with the IRS. My tax burden was causing me so much worry that kept my confused on what to do. This team took the time to learn about my situation, gave me a comprehensive explanation of alternatives, and worked hard to offer a reasonable payment schedule that worked for me. I no longer have to worry about aggressive collections because of their knowledge and commitment, and I feel like I have financial control once again. They made the biggest difference, so I heartily suggest them to anyone with trouble paying their taxes!

I am beyond grateful to the Tax Hardship Center they helped me by setting up an instalment agreement. What once felt like an overwhelming burden became a manageable process thanks to their expertise and dedication. From the start, they took the time to understand my situation, explain my options, and develop a strategy that worked in my best interest. Their team was always responsive especially Morgan, guiding me through every step with patience and professionalism, ensuring I never felt alone in the process. With their help, I was able to put my tax worries behind me. The person selling us on the service wasn’t completely honest regarding past refunds and deadlines to collect them. However the person preparing the documents for us once we signed was excellent. I do recommend the service, just make sure you ask a LOT of questions up front.

The below comment is accurate if you are struggling to pay this company the help is not there. This company took over 3500 from me to basically write a few letters get denied for oic and then without telling me put me on uncollectable status and thinking it went through only to find out 1.5 years later that I am in worse shape. More owed more fees. They promise refund if no resolution that didn’t happen and they never return your calls or emails. 3 years later worse shape now hiring an attorney to handle all of this for me along with going after them when they have all ducks in a row. If you are behind with payments they stop working on your case and sick their mean collector John on you who berates you and tells you other people can pay so what’s your problem basically. They take from hard working good people. I lost my job due to all the stress around this only to be in worse shape. DO NOT USE THEM

As of 05/2024 I have paid Tax Hardship Center/Service a total of 2500.00 and have yet to see any results or information involving my situation with the IRS, I've spoken to a call taker who stated she will relay my message to a supervisor and as of this date NO one have return my calls or email . She stated a tax professional ID as L.B.S was handling my case and would contact me, it's been over 5 months NO letters emails Nothing from these people. Upon speaking with the call taker I informed her I No longer wish to conduct business with Tax Hardship Center and I'm demanding a full refund, not to mention that the IRS was sending me letters about the past due tax bill in which need to be paid. I tried to make contact with LBS and she straight up ignored my calls and emails. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau

I was in a very serious tax situation that Karlyn Lopez from Tax Hardship Center was able to do, what I thought was impossible, resolve an IRS Tax Lien that was preventing me to buy a home and close the escrow on the house. I was in the process of purchasing a home when the title company found an IRS Tax Lien.

I contacted Tax Hardship Center and first spoke with Hamilton Duong, a Senior Case Analyst who explained the service Tax Hardship Center could do for me. It gave me hope, and I agreed to let Tax Hardship Center handle this for me. I was quickly contacted by Karlyn Lopez from the Tax Resolution Department, and Karlyn took immediate action, and was able to have my tax Lien removed quickly, and I was able to satisfy the title company so I could close on my new house. Hamilton, and Karlyn are awesome people. Karlyn stayed in contact with me all through the process. Karlyn is a wonderful person. Friendly, courteous, and caring deeply for my situation. If it wasn't for her, me and my seven-year-old son would not have a home today.
