Learning through teamtreehouse is great as it allows fo the easy understanding of topics that are at high level of understanding ;In addition to that, the workspace feature allows you code along with the instructor so that you can solidify your learning through practice.
Content is updated regularly to reflect changes on the information provided.
Additional useful learning material is provided on the teacher's notes.

The support in the community, to which you have seveal options is great.

Amazing online courses for those interested in the tech industry, Treehouse is a supportive community..with a bunch of activities and projects to improve your experience on programming….
Once the course is finished you have a good understanding of how programming works!!

I highly recommend Treehouse! I was stuck in a stressful, low-paying job, so I gave Treehouse’s Full Stack Javascript Techdegree a shot after a friend recommended it. The clear learning path and projects helped me go from knowing zero code to landing a tech job in six months. Treehouse was a game-changer for me!

Absolute waste of time and money. The tutorial videos constantly pause, interrupting the learning experience.
Cancelling my subscription was the most difficult part - clearly done in a way to take your money.

This is a complete waste of time, the videos freeze and then you wait days for help
The trainer rushes through the lessons and nothing is explained in depth, when you cannot answer the question the only option is to ask fellow students
This takes days and ruins the learning experience
I cannot recommend this outfit, stay away is my advice

Charges money for highly outdated content that only scratches the surface of fundamental concepts within various programming languages, while selling their customers the false idea that completing these tracks and understanding the content will be enough to land them a job in the field.

False advertising and strongly misleading conduct.

I recently enrolled in their Techdegree program and I must say, it has been a nice experience thus far. The content is well structured and the instructors are knowledgeable, providing helpful guidance throughout the courses. I love the format of their videos :) The hands-on projects have allowed me to apply the concepts I've learned. Though there have been a few minor hiccups along the way like problems with payment, the support team has been responsive. Oh, and the community is super cool!

Registration is broken, I was trying with a couple cards and paypal and got no success, instead of helping me a support suggested that there is no money, omg. I do not recommend them.

I've completed two techdegrees through Team Treehouse - the Front End Web Development Techdegree, and the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. The production quality is incredible, and I've created an awesome portfolio to showcase my tech skills.

I had been enrolled in a Masters of Information Technology degree at a world class university in my home town - ranked in the top 50 in the world. I was frustrated with how poor the quality of teaching was, and how outdated the programming concepts and methods were, at such an insanely high price. So, I took a gamble, dropped out, and studied with Treehouse.

I don't think I could be any happier with my decision. I've had a great experience, I've learnt from some incredible Treehouse instructors, received a lot of support from the Slack admin staff and moderators, and - ironically - I was hired by my university to teach programming courses to undergraduate students.

If you're serious about changing careers, I really do think Team Treehouse delivers on what it promises.

Guys - heads down - after accomplishing couple of Treehouse courses I got a job (UK) - please don't think it's a scam post...Just do what u have to do, don't feel bad when u doubt yourself...- P.S. my advice - take advantage of your printer and print out the code you are learning and place it on your wall - you will go through the courses faster. Also, take advantage of the snipping tool and screenshot the code if you cant write it yourself. These are the shortcuts - not ideal - but will let you review the material faster. (Marcin Lipski). I did their tech degree and found it ok until we hit the project that we had to make. What you learn is unrelated to the project actually, you don't learn enough material to build the apps. Its a shame as when i was a normal subscriber i did learn alot. My suggestion would be to make the projects easier and gradually add new methods and techniques to them throughout the course. I thought the projects were near impossible to do without copying source code from somewhere else which defys the point in the learning process, we should be taught the basic building blocks to work out these things ourselves..It's a shame as this platform has potential.

I've learned a lot! Treehouse is expensive for some people but it's so good and useful. The instructors are so very kind as well.

Incomplete learning. To get the full experience, one must sign up for the treehouse top's subscription for web development certificate. otherwise, using tree house only will not improve one's knowledge.

Very good platform to learn IT Skills but in normal membership, there is no certification. Only when you will enroll on tech-degree you get a certificate but when you are a normal customer you got only what you will learn with no ability to share it on social media like for example some certificates.

Treehouse has a great community though. There are badges and points so I felt motivated to learn. There are lot of things good about Treehouse but there are some missing things that I missed while learning on this platform.

Absolutely great. I've been studying their courses for a couple of months (HTML CSS Javascript and Python) and I find the videos very clear, the teachers of vary high standards and the tests challenging in a good way. All this for £20/month, very happy with it. BTW, tried a competitor with really high reviews and found the video terrible (python beginners at pluralsight): the 200 minutes free trial is stupidly short to understand if one likes the product and the customer service was POOR. Anyway, review about Treehouse big thumb up!

Good courses with an awesome community behind it. The forum activity makes Treehouse shine and be worth it over other online course websites.

Super pleased with the courses I've been taking! Good explanations, support and "homework" :) Treehouse suits me much better than for example Codecademy.

They seem to have something for every programming language.
