Troy is an exceptional trainer who combines real hands-on industry experience with genuine passion for teaching. His approach strikes the perfect balance — personable and approachable, yet serious and professional when the situation calls for it. He has no tolerance for disruption or disrespect, which creates a focused and respectful learning environment that benefits everyone. The real, world examples he shared were invaluable and brought the course material to life. Thanks to his skill and dedication, our group successfully achieved our First Aid and SIA Door Supervisor certifications. Troy is an inspirational individual and it would be a privilege to work alongside him in the industry in the future. Highly recommended.

It was great experience to be trained by Troy. I feel like all the information given was in clear and easy to absorb way. The training went smoothly and everyone was ready for the exams.

Troy it’s an amazing trainer and teacher.The way he explained the course was exceptional providing examples from his experience as a door supervisor to help us visualise and solidify the material all through out the course.It is rare to find someone so dedicated to providing such good quality in teaching making sure that all his students will be the best maintaining high standards for us and for himself

Troy did a great job of getting us all involved. He is an extremely knowledgeable teacher that knows what he is talking about through experience and research. He did a great job of prepping us giving us the upmost confidence to pass the test. I can say confidently that I will have a positive, successful career in the security industry.

Troy’s subject knowledge is outstanding. He explains concepts clearly and thoroughly, and no matter how many questions were asked, he always provided confident, easy-to-understand answers. He never rushed through topics—before moving on, he consistently checked that everyone understood the material. If there were any misconceptions, he addressed them calmly and effectively, ensuring no one felt embarrassed for asking.

Troy is an incredible instructor that definitely made the whole experience 10 times more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been, had I done the course elsewhere. He's demands a lot from his students, but delivers on everything he had promised at the start of the course. Not only that but he's very easy to listen to and has everyone's attention at all times as he makes the classes engaging, entertaining and memorable. I passed because of you, so thank you Troy!

My experience with the SIA course was great because Troy is a really good teacher. He helped us understand the material in an engaging way and was always honest and approachable. The way he explained concepts made the course much easier to follow and more enjoyable. I completed the Door Supervisor and Level 3 First Aid training delivered by Troy and found both courses to be well structured and professionally delivered. The content was clear, relevant, and aligned with industry requirements.

Engaging and well structured training course. The trainer had an excellent balance of real-world industry experience and a deep understanding of the underlying theory. His theory classes were very clear and highly engaging despite the content being somewhat mundane at points. Friendly and professional, certainly recommend. Good taste in music too aha

Overall really enjoyed doing the L2 Door supervisor course! Troy the tutor definitely knows his stuff! Highly recommend if you want to learn! 10/10

My training with Teargroup was great. Our trainer - Troy, has an amazing teaching style. Even though he provides you with a substantial amount of knowledge I did not feel overwhelmed, each day I arrived ready to learn more. He is approachable and passionate about what he does whi h makes learning in his class good. You can ask questions that will be answered without judgement and if you do feel like you need it he provides all the support you need to get through.

It wasn’t a read from the text book course. He was able to keep everyone engaged and awake as courses sometimes are long boring and tiring however Troy’s teaching was amazing!

Mr Troy Clark was very kind approachable, polite and well educated in his field of training and presented authentic, information practically and verbally, gave opportunities to ask on anything if some one may have not been understood, very clear and well presented confidently and in a friendly manner.
