TeaTime Bookshop Reviews

a wonderful gift idea, creative and fun, as well as relatively affordable.

Bought a 3 month subscription for my father, who confirmed it was a great surprise each time and came with an extra treat such as tea or biscuits.

Pretty happy with TeaTime Bookshop.
Every month you get a box with some cookies, some coffee/tea and a book. Up to now, all books were new and from unknown (for me) authors, so really happy to discover new horizons.
Only criticism, as a book lover, I'd rather had more careful editions, instead of paperbacks...

In a world that moves too fast, Tea Time Bookshop is a heartwarming reminder to slow down, sip something soothing, and get lost in the pages of a good book. From the moment you encounter this gem—whether online or in one of their charming pop-ups—you’re embraced by a community that celebrates stories, sustainability, and the sheer joy of reading.

What sets Tea Time Bookshop apart isn’t just their carefully curated selection of pre-loved and new books (though that alone is a delight); it’s the love, thoughtfulness, and purpose behind every package, every recommendation, every cup of ethically sourced tea tucked into their signature book boxes. You don’t just receive a book—you receive a full experience designed to nourish your mind and soul.

Their team clearly believes in the power of literature to connect, comfort, and inspire. Each book bundle feels like it was selected by a friend who knows your reading heart, and their subscription service is pure magic: a monthly surprise that never fails to bring a smile. Add to that their commitment to eco-friendly packaging and carbon-neutral deliveries, and it’s clear Tea Time Bookshop isn’t just selling books—they’re building a better, more thoughtful world one reader at a time.

In a time when connection can feel fleeting and the digital noise overwhelming, Tea Time Bookshop offers a rare kind of warmth and authenticity. It’s not just a business; it’s a movement. A sanctuary. A story all its own—one you’ll want to return to again and again.

Verdict: 5 stars, a cup of tea, and a permanent place on every book lover’s shelf.

I recently purchased teatime books as a gift for my sister for a birthday present
Every month she looked forward to getting a hood a tea and biscuits she absolutely loved it

If your struggle to get a gift for someone I would recommend this to anyone

Ive chosen two genres of books this time. I love the surprise of books by different authors that Ive not read before. The lovely treats and little extras are fantastic too

Their boxes are made with a great deal of care and you get extra items like tea, coffee and hot chocolate with a bookmark and postcard. As well as buying a subscription box from them you save the planet, by planting more trees.

I ordered 6 month - 1yr subscription for my mother and she really enjoyed the selection and small gifts that came each month. A really nice gift to give to a loved one :-).

Great value and loved the extra little treats. Nice to see books you may not have found elsewhere ( would like to have option to say specific genres you DON'T want in 'surprise' genre. I received a horror book, which is really not my thing. Gave it to a friend)

I've had Subscription boxes with Tea Time Bookshop for almost two years now and I still get giddy when they come every month! I've had books from Crime, Fantasy and Surprise subscriptions and I love them all! Best gift to myself every month!

I loved the experience with them. The boxes are beautifully put together and my boyfriend loved each one of them. The customer service is amazing and helped with any issue, even the smallest ones! Highly recommend <3

Everytime I use the Tea Time Bookshop I have a great experience. The products always cone well packaged.

The one time I had to contact customer service they were outstanding and resolved my query really quickly.

Really great range of offers. Easy to order and prompt delivery

Just had a look at the new website and I really like it, the home page looks very inviting and I like that each of the different categories are presented in an eye catching manor, it's a while since I've made a purchase as life gets in the way and such, I really must get back into reading again and this website really makes that tempting, I can't wait to take another look

Such a treat!
I’ve loved receiving my monthly book box from TeaTime Bookshop, it’s really helped me step out of my comfort zone with reading and explore some new titles that I wouldn’t have picked up myself. The boxes I’ve received have been high quality books and I would definitely recommend as a gift for someone (or a treat for yourself!)

Signed up for the monthly subscription and so far been extremely pleased. The website was easy to navigate with lots of choices of book genres. I would definitely recommend The TeaTime bookshop onwards.

Always so excited to receive our monthly box! Really well curated gifts, recommended to lots of friends as gift ideas for loved ones.

Love love love my subscription! Bought it so I could read outside of my normal picks and I've not been sent a dud book yet! It's great like having a gift to open each month.
