Disappointing experience
I purchased an item via eBay and paid in full. The seller contacted me afterwards to confirm details, indicating the order was proceeding.
Several days later, the order was cancelled without any prior contact or attempt to discuss the issue. The seller stated to me that the cancellation was due to a pricing error, but later confirmed they selected “out of stock/damaged” as the cancellation reason on eBay instead.
A refund was issued, but the lack of communication, inconsistency in the stated reason, and disruption after arrangements had already been made made this a disappointing experience.
