Tomoka Fine & Rare Reviews

As a non whiskey expert I was totally reliant on the advice I received when putting my portfolio of casks and bottles together. My only slight issue was having to chase my proof of purchase certificates. After the first year it appears my investment (early 2022) has performed well which is why I have made additional purchases. The team at Tomoka Fine & Rare have been very helpful and are knowledgeable about the sector.

Tomoka has been immensely professional in starting my journey into whiskey investment.

My agent Thomas has been exceptional in sourcing the best casks for my needs. He has really taken the time to understand me as a person, alongside my short and long term goals to find the best possible investments.

I would sincerely recommend Tomoka to anyone who is interested in whiskey investment.

I felt confident with the investment they suggested and I am comfortable with the amount invested

Very knowledgeable and helpful. Provided a good customer service experience and managed the process and our epectations.

We had an amazing private whisky tasting with Matt at the shop. It really is an experience. The trip to the bottle cellar is not to be missed. I walked in as someone who enjoys a whisky and left with a new found interest and desire to learn more. We also decided to purchase some casks as an investment/ hobby and are looking forward to trips to the distillery and trying our own whisky. that really was not planned when we went along. We are also looking forward to continually working with Matt to improve on our portfolio. So far so good. Thanks Matt

Matthew Nixon explained everything in great detail and helped me understand the process of investing in whisky casks, the risks and benefits and also the long term gains that can be made.

Would definitely recommend this brokerage based upon my experience with Matthew and the company so far.

Having researched whiskey investment intensively over the past six months, I found Tamoka Fine & Rare to be by far the coolest in town. We were welcomed in to their amazing menagerie of the rarest and finest whiskies by the very knowledgable and high spirited Matt Nixon who explained the process in simple terms, so much so I felt like an expert after my first taste. The reigns were then handed to the discerning Tom White whose clear and concise investment strategies we discussed over a few drams of Irish gold. These are real whiskey buffs that leave you in no doubt you are in the right hands.
I have no hesitation in recommending Tomoka Fine & Rare and the exemplary service they offer.

I first made investments through Tomoka in May 2022. These investments have performed incredibly well thus far, encouraging me to make further investments with Tomoka this year. Thomas joined the team as Head of Investment earlier this year and has provided fantastic personalised customer service, going above and beyond what I expected. Furthermore, after looking at my portfolio he (after some months of waiting for a suitable opportunity to arise) has made an investment recommendation to help diversify my portfolio further.

I am eager to see how my investments continue to perform over the coming years. I plan to update my review once I have been through the selling process, however, if my experiences so far are anything to go by I'm sure it will be smooth and lucrative.

Purchased a few casks from Tomoka this year - first as a gift for my husband and then as investment. Matthew Nixon has been great help throughout. He helped us though our initial apprehensions about investing in the industry and helped us determine the direction we wished to head to in order to build a decent portfolio. He is very friendly, knowledgable and trustworthy. Looking forward to long term work with Matt!!

I first invested in whisky through Tomoka F&R in 2022. As I was new to the industry the team were very helpful to provide several options to suit my needs and take time to talk me through the process from investment to exit strategies. The lack of pressure and personal approach was a key reason why I chose Tomoka over competitors. I was able to complete initial investment in person at their impressive London office. Since initial investment the team have frequently reached out to keep in touch and maintain that personal service. I am yet to exit from any investments but thus far am very pleased with service received.

Genuinely a five star experience talking and visiting Tomoka Fine and Rare.
Exemplary advice on the portfolio I have grown and continue grow.
Truly the best investment considering the current climate.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff are so passionate & knowledgeable about whisky & really full of enthusiasm. Initially invested 12 months ago - encountered a few administration issues & not communicating well enough etc. This made us decide to sell. We dealt with Thomas, who had recently taken up his role at Tomoka. Dealing with Thomas was much easier, he kept on touch & communicated regularly with updates. Above all it was very profitable. Very happy with our experience in the end.

I've been considering whisky investment for some time and explored several companies last year, eventually putting my trust in Tomoka Fine and Rare. It's been a good experience to date with knowledgeable guidance and support around the investment, and no sales-pitches or pressure. In addition, a recent valuation discussion was very helpful and supported my confidence in the company.

Ì have nothing but positive things to say, about Tomoka. From my initial investment, tasting days and further purchases. To advise given freely. I am EXTREMELY happy and confident, with my investment in whisky, being dealt with by Tomoka.

I wanted to treat my Husband who is a very keen whisky drinker but also wanted to get a good investment for our future. On having many discussions with Matt, I purchased a cask and now look forward to having it and we are quite excited about owning our own cask.
