We just recently renewed our thatch insurance as our previous insurance doubled for no reason! Purchasing thatch home insurance can be very daunting, however Eddie Tesloff provided excellent support to ensure we got the best cover available for the best price! When our current insurer- Nationwide - suddenly declined to renew cover (after 26 years without a claim) and gave us only one month to find a new insurer, I was so pleased to find Thatch Assist and their helpful team who took us through everything clearly and enabled us to take out a new policy in time.
We were considering purchasing a thatched cottage and wanted to understand more about the insurance implications before moving forward. I spoke with Liz Mitchell, who was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. She shared an absolute wealth of knowledge about insuring thatched properties and explained everything in a way that was clear, thorough, and easy to understand.

I was also advised to pursue a correct rebuild cost for the property as an incorrect estimate could prove to be a costly error. Thatch Assist were also able to organise this for me which will provide peace of mind that I am not under insured.
