Had always took the classroom route for all similar electrical courses,however the cost element and the fact i needed this qualification before my impending annual assessment meant i decided to go online for a change. The cost for course,exam and Regs book definitely value for money and all arrived promptly. The course is delivered in an excellent manner by Chris,with all the likely exam suspects highlighted.The questionnaires after each section are quickly delivered back and the mock exam results are instant. Chris sorted my exam date at my preferred location in good time and was there to cheer me on! I completed this course pretty intense and was hitting 95% on the mock exams so was very confident for the real thing..however i did get a surprise exam day when i passed ... but with 78%...must have been a tough paper!! Received my cert within a week so all good. If i'm around for the next update ill certainly use Chris and The Regs again..excellent service..Thanks Again

I would recommend this course to anyone who needs to pass the 18th edition wiring regulations. Great value for money and you can learn at your own pace. I originally did my 17th edition with Chris / The Regs (passed with 96.x%) and then did my 18th edition in early 2019.

I got exactly the same score despite the 1st exam being the C&G version and the recent one the EAL version.

A good course for those who are disciplined enough to do the work at home. Some need the pressure of a classroom, but home study worked for me, and on exam day I was calm and confident thanks to all the workbooks and feedback that Chris gives.

A great course and very easy to follow.Chris is always on the end of the phone if any problems or questions you may have,and very cheap compared with doing it through a college.Very pleased and a first time pass with a good score,thanks to Chris.

Would highly recommend Chris and his distant learning 18th Edition Course, I found it fit perfectly around my busy work schedule and never felt under any pressure to hurry things along. Chris was always available when required, always returned any missed calls and promptly responded to emails. Sat my exam today and passed with a score of 88% so well pleased with the outcome. I would recommend this. The course suited me as it worked around my work and family commitments. So I was able to study when I had the time available.
You can review each section until you are comfortable to move on. There are practice questions that help reinforce your learning.
At first I found the course challenging to fit into my life then I made sure I had 30-45 mins spare to sit down and take 5 mins to settle down and then begin go through the modules at a pace that worked for me. Then after a few sessions I moved up to spending 1 hour at a time on the course.
I found this was achievable and enjoyable. Especially when you start to get familiar with the Regs book, and get a basic understanding of what is in each part.

The practice questions and exams are good for keeping you grounded and help you to gauge how much progress you are making and the areas where you need to work on.

Chris was able to answer any questions I had and provide me with support when needed. he has a wealth of knowledge but is a friendly down to earth guy.

So in summary this course worked for me because I could do it in my own time without travelling to college or training centres and doing over a week. I was able to absorb the required information and get help from Chris whenever I needed it.

By the way I passed first time with over 95%

Found the course easy to follow and the videos were quite easy going to listen to, it made the course as interesting as a regs course could be. Major benefit of this type of learning over classroom is the classroom is always rushed to pack it all in to 5 days with this type of learning, you can pause rewind and get things into your head properly before moving on. It did what it said on the tin I passed first time with 85% so not complaining,

Spot on course easy to follow each part in your own time would recommend have used before and would use again.

Very good course. I learned so much more this time, as I got to really spend more time and digest all the key, deeper aspects of the Regs that I missed the last time around. I liked it much better than a crash 3-day course/test. I felt well prepared going into the test after completing all the parts.
