I booked this for my family for an extra Christmas present there were 6 of us and cost me over £450 with food and the cocktail making was good fun but the food was small tasteless and not worth the money as everyone had to have food elsewhere on the way home which really spoilt it ! So really not worth the money
I have visited the alchemist at st martins lane and Canary Wharf. Both were brilliant. However I took my daughter for her birthday to see the show wicked which is in Victoria. So booked for the bar in Victoria
What a terrible experience.
The waiter was actually quite rude. We ordered food and he commented on how one of the dishes would be without the sauce. I am allergic to some ingredients so often ask for no sauces. Not sure what business it was if his how someone eats their food. Anyway. When it came he gave the other two meals normally but then couldn’t help but comment again to my dry food.
When the cocktails came. Unfortunately was the same waiter. They looked nothing like they did in your other restaurants and one didn’t even taste the same.
It honestly was like he couldn’t be bothered.
So disappointing.
This was my daughters birthday treat and I had bigged up the experience
I emailed Victoria and received an automatic response which said they will get back to you in 24 hours.
That was a week ago. I then emailed the company but still no response.
I would highly recommend the other two bars. But stay clear of Victoria. I guess we stay to what we know.
Went to The Alchemist Battersea for a second time, just across from the US Embassy, really great venue to meet people and spend the evening, surroundings inside and outside are great, food is excellent, the service provided by Jason was above and beyond, which is why this positive review is being posted.
We'll definitely be returning many more times!
