To the Management of The American Book Publishing,
I am writing to formally address a severe and unacceptable breach of communication regarding my book, which has been under contract with your company for one year and three months.
Despite my compliance with all terms and my extreme patience, your company has gone completely silent. This has happened several times before. They do not answer their phone, and there is no way to contact them. Their emails do not go through.
My assigned representative, Ashley, has completely ignored multiple emails, phone calls, and text messages since July 2nd. I spoke with your support team via chat last Friday, and I was assured that Ashley would contact me immediately. No one has. This level of neglect is highly disrespectful and constitutes a breach of our service agreement.
I deserve the following within 48 hours from August 4, 2026 @ 2 pm.
An immediate written update on the exact status of my book's publication.
Contact with a senior manager that Ashley is unresponsive.
If I do not receive a comprehensive and satisfactory response by the deadline stated above, I will escalate this matter.
Filing a formal fraud and contract non-performance complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
Escalating complaints to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for predatory business practices.
Posting detailed public reviews to warn other writers.

Please be advised this has been a stressful frustrating nightmare, I am very disappointed about the service received, from the beginning lost parts of manuscript, couldn’t get illustrations corrected, I basically did editing myself, they did not proofread, they ignored me for 9 months & still made numerous mistakes, when publishing after all was good to publish they managed to publish with missing content, upon fixing it, when the book was published again they changed the format, illustrations was blurred out, my name wasn’t printed as requested, they constantly changed numbers & the email no longer is found, I still haven’t received the 5 special edition copies of the corrected book completed in May - June.
KDP is a joke, they still have the wrong book on bookshelf and the correct book republished in May / June is not live on the shelf. They purposely sabotage my manuscript book because it was a Christian book, one editor said he will not continuing because it’s not his belief, yet I paid over 1500$ to give me a proper complete service which I didn’t get.
I want to sue but it’s not worth my time, I just want my 5 special copies of my book published in May/June… I am going on with my life as an author, I’ll live with the fact that they didn’t print my name on my book properly. I have been so insulted, they can keep the money because it’s going to be hell and I’m not entering any more contracts nor contact with the devil that makes me curse & misrepresents my true character as a Woman of God.
I finally decided to make this review because they are unable to be contacted, and they change people like they change their clothing. They are NOT legit professionals
Also they took a year from January 16th 2025 to present to complete my book, still unpleasing.

After reading reviews prior to choosing American Book League, I am so disappointed with the service I have received. I paid for a lower priced package they were offering, a simple KDP format and book cover design. Everything started off fine, but then after 2 weeks...radio silence. No response. So then I was assigned to a new rep and same thing. Absolutely no response!! I have sent 3 follow up emails in the past 6 weeks and nothing. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! Am asking for a refund, but it will be a miracle if I hear a word.

These people are scammers.They literally stole out of my account.After Credit Union investigated.I disputed the charges within 1 week withdrawn out of my account,they never sent me the book.They given me a choice if I wasn't satisfied with their work they would return my money.They stole the money,they ignored my phone calls they never reach back out to me.They will reap what they have sown.Some of these Credit Union are behind these rip offs.Afyer moving to NY.My G F C U gotten upset with me.After banking with them over 6 years in Texas.They allowed these scammers to steal out of my account.They can no longer get deposit anymore in Texas so they tell me take it to court they close my account out without my authorization after telling them I'm not responsible for American book publishing company done.The economy is fallen so these company's getting angry so they decide to steal from innocent people.I never received the money the book publisher stole neither did they return my money.

They are scammers, they are not exist as per mention their website address.

Thank you to American Book Publishers for a great job ! They were professional and knowledgeable snd always answered my calls and emails. I appreciate their patience during the whole process of correcting errors made by another publisher.

I really appreciate working with Adam. He took an experience that could have been better and made it much better. When an issue came up for me, he tried his best to help me. The books turned out beautiful. I am in the process of writing another book and I will be asking Adam to take care of that for me.

Adam and his team were very accessible throughout the process of publishing my book. He was able to answer all questions I had including copyright, pricing, and design.
