Since our humble beginnings over 30 years ago, The Ark Clothing Co. has been designed and made in Melbourne by a community of like-minded people who believe design should always be imbued with integrity. Making small runs of our beautiful designs locally in Australia and supporting the talented makers we are lucky to work with every day is at the heart of who we are and what we do.

The Ark always have quality clothing and a flattering cut.
Staff are always helpful and have a good knowledge of their products.

I like that they have Australian Made and Excellent Customer Service
I like that The Ark have some Australian Made clothing as I prefer to support local. The clothes are very practical and good quality. I have consistently experienced very good Customer Service not only in-store but also whenever I have sent Customer Support Queries. The Warehouse Staff are also very helpful.

Always welcoming
Always welcoming. Had a style of silver earings I needed. Looked at what was on sale and new in - and no hard sales push.

Loved the Roma pant and top. The sales assistant Lucia was a great help and a lovely person 😊 I have been buying from the Ark for years such a great place.

I have always loved The Ark clothing…
I have always loved The Ark clothing and shopping instore is a lovely experience with helpful & friendly staff.
I bought a fabulous red dress this Christmas and everyone commented how beautiful it looked. And amazing that it was made in Australia. We should support businesses who support our local manufacturing.

These clothes used to be fabulous
These clothes used to be fabulous - great fabric, designs, consistent sizing, long-lasting, well-priced. Now - customer service is non-existent, sizes are only approximate, fabric is cheaper and designs are lacking. After returning a skirt 3 weeks ago, no contact. Emails aren't answered, phone calls go to voicemail. It looks like I'll have to contact Fair Trading to get my refund and will spread the word about this unfortunate company.
